Dear JosephI'm sorry you though of things this way of our hotel but your accusations are completely false. None of our rooms have mold on the wall we never rent rooms like that to any guest. As for the bed not being made that is false as well. The rooms was ready to rent when you checked in. As for the drywall and paint over our carpet in our downstairs hallway and stairwells, we started our renovations to our public areas and we have new carpet ready to be installed in about a week so I'm not too sure on how the hallways and stairwells would have impacted your stay.

Dear AngelaYou came in without an ID and that is absolutely against our policy no matter what. We require a valid ID for security reasons to ensure no fraud is taking place. I was not being rude I was just stating my policy NO ID NO ROOM.

Didn’t like anything! Room wasn’t finished remodeling. Light blinking outside off window. Refridgerstor noise. Bathroom shower was dirty. Blanket on bed was ripped. Door to bathroom wouldn’t close. Remodeling wasn’t finished in room. Smelled bad like they tried to hide the smell of cigarettes. No breakfast like was advertised. Room was too expensive. Said it was pet friendly and charged $20 for each dog. Must not have installation in the walls because you could hear the people next door. Only good thing was the manager was friendly.

Dear JohnI am not too sure what you were expecting but I am sorry you did not like your stay. The room is finished remodelling as it has a redone bathroom, new furniture, new mattresses, new bedding, new mini fridge and microwave. As far as the smell I am not too sure what you smelled in the room as we inspect the rooms daily and are a smoke free property. As far as breakfast we are the budget brand of Choice Hotels and as far as my brand standards we are only required to serve coffee but we are serving much more than we are required so there is no room to complain about breakfast as it is not a brand requirement. We are a pet friendly hotel but at a cost and not just us every pet friendly hotel charges a fee in order to cover any cleaning costs and potential damages caused by the pets. I am sorry that you heard noise from the neighbor but our walls are insulated and up to building code. And as for the rate you paid our rates are competitive and right in line with our competitors. If you were unhappy with your stay at this price point I suggest you look at staying at a higher cost hotel as we are a budget hotel and our property is way up to par than required than our brand.

Dear JamesI'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience at our hotel. If I recall nobody at our hotel refused to give you toilet paper or towels. Upon request we always happily give our guests anything extra they need. As far as burning incense I really don't see any problem in burning them. We burn them to give a pleasant smell in our lobby. Also we inspect our rooms on a daily basis and upon inspection we never found any trash or dirt in any of our rooms but if you have any physical evidence please forward it to us. We have also done numerous renovations in our rooms including new carpet, repainting the rooms, brand new modern furniture, new mattresses, new platform bed frames, and new bedding and we are still continuing with renovations. I am sorry that you found you found your stay at our budget friendly hotel unpleasant.

We typically service rooms on a daily basis if your stay is under 7 days but if you didn't receive any service during your stay we apologize. Also, during your stay we were doing remodeling which is still going on as we are working on redoing our bathrooms. At the time of your stay we were serving breakfast and the times were listed at the front desk.

Not recommended for anyone except low budget travelers. This is an old motel in a dismal part of North Sioux City. Holes in the carpet, wallpaper peeling, various things broken and unfixed. Every room smells strongly of cigarette smoke. Staff is friendly and competent and it's not unsafe so OK for those on tight budgets.

Room was filthy and had a unclean odor. Staff acted like they were doing me a favor letting me stay here. Tv did not work. Only lights in the room were 2 huge ceiling lights that gave off more heat than the noisy heater. Recliner was so filthy I decided not to sit in it. The overall motel needs a visit from the health and safety inspector.

The front desk attendant was rude and I accommodating. We arrived for a late night check in, the parking lot had maybe 3 cars in it, seemed like the hotel had plenty of vacancies. We had 2 large suitcases, and rather than put us in a room on the lower floor, he put us on 2nd floor, no elevator either. Just annoying as the downstairs rooms were all completely vacant. Our room was damp feeling and wreaked of cigarette smell and other foul odors. The bed was in terrible condition as well. We chose to not sleep within the bed blankets, just slept on top. The smells alone were enough to make it hard to fall asleep. In the morning as I was rushing to get ready and leave, there was a cockroach crawling across my hairbrush and disappeared behind the stand. This place is disgusting and you should not be affiliated and offering it to your Expedia customers. The ratings are very misleading!
