The great thing is that the motel is near eateries, gas stations etc. There are some updates in the rooms but holes/peeled paint on entry doors and walls in the hotel room. I cleaned the vents in the fans before I used the heater bc it was quite dirty. The staff is lovely and quickly responded to my concerns about the people above me.

We look for reasonable, clean places to rest and clean up on our travels across country. Most often for one night at a time. This place fit our bill. Nothing fancy but slept well. The man that checked us in was friendly and nice. The flower beds and roses seemed tenderly cared for. After our experience the following night, at the OYO in Wilkes-Barre, PA, this place was fantastic.

Location is close by to popular spots like Watch Hill and Mystic Beach. The cost is a lot cheaper compared to others in the area. Overall, a perfect stay for two people needing somewhere to spend the night while exploring RI and CT for a good price.

I should know that you get what you pay for... I was a bit skeeved out. Some sticky brown residue on the shelf in front of the bathroom sink. Mold on the shower curtain liner. Towels and pillow cases were well worn thin and room was on the damp side with a hard mattress. Guy at the desk was nice and polite and everything else seemed like it was clean, not too noisy at night sooo.....

overall, this day was amazing. My only issue was the day of checkout housekeeping was banging on my door since 8 AM and insisting it was time to go. Check out time is 11 and it was a little scary, not knowing who was banging on the door and trying to come in.

Good location and great potential. The Staff were friendly and the room we stayed in affordable, clean and well enough updated inside. The property and grounds were not set up like the photos showed so we were not able to enjoy those amenities. Where nice evening seating was shown, there were wooden pallets randomly left around the front property. Not sure if there was construction work to the outdoor areas prior to peak Summer travel.
