「We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area.」

「Cute for 2 people, but if you have trouble with steps look for a different location. Bed in main bedroom was VERY tall off the ground and hard to get into for a 5 foot tall woman. Clean property, but although sleeps 6 is stated in rental, it was comfortable for myself and my friend on our girls weekend. Give local restaurant Black Bear Tavern a 5 star rating also. EXCELLENT service, selection, food was amazing and entertainment was spot on for what we were looking for. Location nearby...

「The condo was lovely with amazing amenities. Very quiet but it was too far from trails, eateries, and other things to do. Had to drive everywhere and there was no view but there was a nice deck.Again very nice but just didn’t include some of the logistics I had hoped for. This was not our first time at Canaan but our first time at this property. Beware, there are steps from parking lot to unit but condo is one floor.」

「What a wonderful, relaxing, tranquil retreat. David and Pearle were such gracious hosts, providing so many amenities for our comfort/enjoyment. 「The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. 「I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy.
