“Spacious suite overlooking dense greenery - like staying in a treehouse! Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. “我非常不推荐这家酒店，这是我在新西兰住过最差的酒店。我会告诉我的亲朋好友不选择这家酒店。
1，男屋主非常粗鲁，没有礼貌。入住时，我开了4小时车，想先上一下厕所再办入住，男主人不让，坚持要我出去把行李拿上，再一起上楼办入住。
2，他坚持让我把鞋放在门口，说脏不能放房间。但是给我的拖鞋是别人穿过的，我看见有脚趾和脚后跟的印记，他坚持说这就是新的。我非常不能忍受。去房间需要上楼和走过户外的走廊，拖鞋不防滑，还把袜子都弄湿了。我不能忍受他让我把1000美金的球鞋放在房间外面，那是我的个人财物，我觉得很有必要放在我自己的房间里。
3，房间很小，天花板是斜的。后面橱子开了门用冰箱就不能过人。浴室有裂缝，隔壁就是他的餐厅，每天7点不到就很吵，根本无法得到很好的休息。是一间改装的阳光房。
4，他说去城中心走下山就可以，指的小路非常湿滑，没有防护栏，十分危险，我走了5米就放弃了，绕大路下山，回来时候坡度很大，人很累。浑身酸疼了好几天。
5，停车位很少很小，卫生间毛巾不干净。……

“Great location and community. Just across the road from McLeods Bay which is great for a dip but be mindful that it has sharp shells. Beautiful ocean beach just 10 minutes drive away. Mt Manaia club for New Year’s Eve. Note front of house was a construction site but back area lovely to relax. Front deck still a work in progress when we were there in January ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Villa Russell. The balcony views to the bay were both beautiful and relaxing. The room was large with a king sized bed and good quality linen and towels. The room had a small kitchen with fridge microwave, kettle etc . Breakfast items were located in the fridge. We enjoyed the simple breakfast of cereal, toast, fruits and yoghurt. Sue, our host was very helpful. ”
