“My family and friends came up for the American Birkebeiner ski race. We were unable to get into our usual place so thought we would try this place. It’s a very clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much we decided to stay again next year. ”

“This was our second year at the chip lodge. we liked it so much the first year that we had to come back. the first year we showed up there was maybe 15 people and the house easily accommodated us. its a rustic vibe. things are old and perhaps that is the charm and what we like about it. the highlight for us is definitely the slow cruises on the pontoon boat as we explored the lake. The kitchen is huge and designed to feed a lot of people. Gary is a nice guy. He lives right next……

“Really great week for a family reunion. Great accommodations for 14 for 1/2 the week. The pontoon was a big bonus to hang out on and the renters were very quick to respond to some minor issues. Hope to go back soon!”

“We stayed in area for retriever competition for just over a week. The house and surrounding land is beautiful. Don’t be afraid of the driveway - it’s steep but easily navigable. The rocks at the entryway are a little cumbersome to get up and down, especially when carrying supplies or baggage. The house was well equipped for cooking and relaxing. WiFi worked well which is good as reception in area not great. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again if in area”

“Nice and cozy "bardominium" that felt very cabin like. Super convenient to lots of restaurants, far enough from town that you get the full Northwoods experience. Nice entertainment room upstairs with TV, shuffleboard and lots of family games to help with the rainy days. Appreciate you opening your home to our family for a Wisconsin vacation!”
