「Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. Otherwise very happy with the cabin and hosts.」

「We loved this property so much. Sweeping views of the hills, cosy fireplace with plenty of fire wood, plenty of space, lovely cottage garden and lawn, great location, friendly and kind hosts who were very responsive, and a very friendly sheep called Flossy! You can tell that a lot of effort has gone into creating a perfect stay and it has paid off. We’ll be back.」

「Host did not greet us or leave milk for tea & coffee. Host 2 dogs were the only friendly ones at the property although first night they barked all night and one was very thin and was looking for food. No firepit, which we were looking forward to at night. Outlook was disappointing as main view was looking at old shed and old machinery and timber lying around. No WiFi and poor TV reception. We would not return 😒」

「There were 7 of us staying to attend a wedding and we all had a great time. Beds were comfortable and plenty of warm blankets. Wood provided for the fires - which was needed as it was a cold in the evenings. Sunday morning the ladies sat out on the veranda with morning coffee/tea whilst the men slept in. Kitchen was well equipped. Stunning views and surrounding property. Only downfall is not really 2 bathrooms - 2 showers, (1 in the bath & one stand alone) one toilet inside and another outside...

「Waringa Downs was a gloriously generous home amongst the rolling hills with the most spectacular sunsets. We spotted roos and possums at night on the property and enjoyed the fresh country air. Perfectly positioned to enjoy Mayfield Gardens, fossicking in Oberon and walks through the State Forests. The kids loved the maze at Mayfield Gardens and we all thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable home as our base. We will be back if we get around to another country break!」

「This property was overall amazing! I shared the experience with 4 kids and my daughter and her husband. They all loved it so much with good access to bedrooms and the bathrooms. Obviously been a bit older than the young kids legs some of the steps were very big and steep but got down in the end. Thanks so much for the stay」
