The room we had (room 4) was quite basic. The TV was not connected to the internet, there was no electrical socket near to a mirror, the tables by the side of the bed were very small and quite unstable, in the evenings the room was cold(we stayed in October) but at night the heating came on which made the radiators noisy, there was only one pack of two biscuits and no decaffeinated tea and coffee. Parking was also quite difficult as the car park was very small. However the staff were extremely friendly and the food was amazing. We had the cooked breakfast and booked for Sunday lunch. The view over the National Trust property from upstairs was great. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit the NT property but if we stayed again we would.

Nice country Pub.

Traditional country pub located very close to Blickling Hall (NT). Parking was plentiful and easy. We were welcomed and efficiently dealt with. Our room (No.1) was a bit tired looking but reasonably equipped, tidy and quite clean, although the carpet looked a bit dirty. The heating system seemed a bit hit and miss, it was working when we arrived but we could not get it to work on the second day. There was however a 'backup' portable heater. Breakfasts were good but not exceptional except for the size which were excessively large. We also had evening meals which were quite good in terms of quality but again the portion sizes were excessive. The B&B price was reasonable and the food good value. We would be happy to return.

Convenient overnight as hiking The Weavers' Way. Some quirks with the room, could not get towel rail to turn on and staff were unable to help. The food here is amazing, huge portions. Breakfast very good too.

Wonderful property, staff amazing. Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power. It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay. As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime. We will be back! 👍

We have stayed at the Bucks several times and will return . Beautiful location overlooking Blickling Estate, with lakeside walks on the doorstep .Amazing friendly , helpful staff who go over and above . Food delicious but beware of large portions ! Comfortable, clean rooms.

Great accomodation and magnificent breakfast

This is the second time we have stayed. The sta were very friendly and helpful. The room was great and very quiet. The breakfast is the best of any I tried…you won’t need any lunch. I would definitely recommend it.

This was our third stay at the Buckinghamshire Arms and it won't be our last From the minute you check in all the staff are incredibly friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were delighted with the standard of service on our first visit and it has never dropped below excellent No matter what time of year we have stayed the food has always been fantastic in quality and quantity, using fresh seasonal ingredients I can not praise enough everything about staying at the Buckinghamshire Arms

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good range of beers. Location for Blickling hall great, location in the area also good. Breakfast choice limited but food was brilliant . Only real downside was bedroom furniture was dated but this did not detract from the overall stay.
