“We stayed one night last weekend, we had to be moved because the toilet flush didn't work but fortunately that wasn't a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are far enough away from the bar so as to be quiet. Our only small criticism of room 3 is that it's in the eaves and the shower screen is fixed so it is almost impossible to turn on the bath tap without actually getting in the bath! A silly design fault. The location on the river is lovely and it was good to have a drink……

“On arrival at Bell Cottage we were met by occupants who directed us around the corner to the owner's house. The owner was not in but able to communicate via the Ring doorbell. We were greeted warmly and told where to collect the keys to a different property with en-suite and a shared kitchen, situated to the the left of the owner's house. So a bit of confusion to start with, but the attic room we occupied was lovely, cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“The central location is perfect and onsite parking a benefit. Breakfast was wonderful and beautifully presented, and the owner and his team ensured we had a memorable and comfortable stay in peaceful surroundings. A terrific find and a delightful stay.”

“The hosts were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean, though in need of a few bits of maintenance (loo roll hooder rusty and broken, water in the sink due to the plug not staying out, loose socket by the bed). The bedding was clean and there were a good selection of pillows with different hardness. The mattress was a little thin but ok. The room got cold in the evening but there was an electric radiator in the cupboard. The front was within a few minutes walk so convenient. I……

“Room spacious, condiments & bedding dirty, shower head kept coming off, needed extra pillows, bed was really low and showed dirty marks on sheets etc, couldn’t get a breakfast, staff were rude when asked for more pillows etc and asking why questions. ”

“A perfect stay, completely as shown in all of the booking details, photos and information provided, with friendly and welcoming staff. Situated in a quiet area of Great Yarmouth, one street back from the promenade to the North of Britannia Pier and the cinema, and overlooking a green area used by the football club and local schools and clubs. One end of the road leads to the town area, the other towards the Venetian Waterways and the quieter end of the Prom. An extremely easy walk from the……
