"Two nights at the Maids Head and w came away genuinely impressed — not an easy thing to say about hotels these days. It's a classy operation. Historic building, beautifully maintained, sitting right in the heart of Norwich, but what really sets it apart is the service. Every single person I encountered — front desk, housekeeping, room service, the restaurant and bar teams — was exceptional. The standard was uniform, which tells you the culture runs deep. Picking out individuals would do the rest of them a disservice. A standout moment: a complimentary ride in the hotel's Bentley. Entirely unexpected, beautifully judged, and exactly the kind of touch that turns a good stay into one you talk about afterwards. Rooms have character, food is excellent, location is unbeatable. But it's the feel of the place — that quiet, confident hospitality — that I'll remember. Highly recommended."
