A Filipino Rustic Duplex in Cavite (Unit B)

A modern Filipino duplex in a safe & quiet neighborhood along the highway. It is a two-minute walk to the main road and a five- minute ride to the nearest local malls, banks, hospitals & other places of business. Only 20 to 40 minutes from the international and domestic airports, most embassies & major malls in Manila. It is a perfect layover & homebase while visiting families in the area or exploring sights in the province or city. It has a shared carport & some green outdoor space.

The property is in a subdivision along the national highway and is an established neighborhood in the area. Most of its residents have been living there for 20 to 50 years. It is an original settlement with middle class homes and a typical suburban Filipino feel. The roads and canals have had a major upgrade and make going in and out of the subdivision as well as parking on the street fairly easy. The property does have its own carport for private parking.

The property is located right between two nearby town hubs (Rosario on the east side and Noveleta on the west side) so one is close enough for easy access to places of business but far enough to get away from the crowd and the noise of small town centers. It is very ideal for Filipinos living abroad coming to visit families and friends in the general area. But it could also be ideal for first time visitors who just want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Manila and experience small town provincial living.

A private car would be the most ideal mode of transportation to get around but there are public buses and jeepneys and trikes right outside the subdivision. Taxis are uncommon (as it is in most places outside Manila) so it would be good to note this. Grab is fairly easy to find to get from the airport to the property's location but it might take a little bit of patience to find one to go to the airport for one's return flight going home. There are plenty of private vehicles however for hire so it's not a big deal. The rental fee go from 1,500 to 2,500 pesos for a pick up and drop off service to the airport.

Must see places in the area would include: The Aguinaldo National Shrine and Mansion in Kawit Cavite and all the historical churches notably the Diocesan Shrine of St Augustine in Tanza. Tagaytay is also a favorite and exciting destination and can be reached by taking public buses or renting a private car. Travel time to Tagaytay might take anywhere from 40 mins to an hour and a half depending on traffic conditions, the chosen route and mode of travel.

The beaches are also good destinations and the excellent ones recommended for swimming are at least 12 kilometers away. There are beaches near the property but they would be at best recommended only for sightseeing and a quick dip. It's common knowledge that anything around Manila Bay is not really the best swimming spot. Other tourist destinations would include the historical forts and the museums and libraries and flea markets in the old Manila area which are an hour's away and can be easily visited by either travelling to the city or through an assisted visit/tour.

Lastly, the accomodations we offer are very budget friendly, and although we try our best as hosts to provide most of your needs and will try to make your stay very comfortable, we do not have a service crew or a 24 hour staff at your convenience.
