“Stayed here with my family and my brothers (4 adults and 5 children in total ages 7-15). We had a really great time. The facilities include a pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, petanque and a nice BBQ. It was perfect place for us all to spend time together. The pool is a little too deep for very small children to stand in (maybe 1.2m deep) BUT there is a small shelf around the sides just below the waterline which I think makes it a great pool to learn to swim in. It really is a special place and we’d love to come back again.Just a couple of things to mention that might help future guests: bed linen and towels aren’t included (we only found this out the week before and ended up paying extra for linen). “Fantastic house tucked away from the street. We figured out that the dishwasher and sink were both inoperable when we got there, which made cooking difficult. Christine the property manager was very kind and apologetic, but a plumber couldn’t be sourced until after we left. Assuming those issues are rectified, would whole heartedly recommend this property. Butcher, grocery, transit all nearby to get downtown. ”

“La Capitainerie is a wonderful place to stay in Nantes. It is located in an ideal place for tourists, with may restaurants and places of interest to see within walking distance. An open-air market is a 5-minute walk and has a huge variety of fresh food choices. We visited the market many times to select our seafood, meat and vegetables to cook.
