Virkelig sødt personale, alt var rent og pænt og sikkerhedsvagter der holdt de aggressive sælgere væk fra strandstolene! Restauranterne nok det bedste i området men stadig lidt undervældende

Extremely helpful staff. Great hotel. The public beach in front of the hotel has a busy (and sometimes party) vibe. It can be loud during the day but quiets down by 10-11pm. We had a good beach view from our room. Room was very clean. There were other dining options nearby the hotel.

Loved our stay at Z2 Hotel! Staff are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful – which made Hotel Z and Z2 a standout property. You'll be greeted with warm smiles and a happy "Jambo" by everyone! Hotel Z is the main property, and Z2 is the sister property (where we stayed) right around the corner. Hotel Z2 offers the same access to the Z Hotel property including the pool and beach lounge area (pool-side service), gym, spa and access to the Z property restaurants and other beach-front resort property restaurants. Our room was not beach-front- but did include a pool view and was very quiet. The beach is very short walk around the corner through the Z Hotel. The location in Nungwi is excellent on a more quiet section of the beach, and close enough to night life and fun activities. The resort properties offers all-inclusive restaurants if you purchase that package. We had the breakfast package - which at Z2 and was pool-side right on the property and very good – egg dishes or avocado toast made the way you like + a really generous buffet spread with juices, fresh fruit, pastries and so much more. Rooms are very clean and the air conditioning is really good - a must on this tropical island. A back-up generator kept everything running well 24/7. This is a big deal on the island where rolling blackouts can occur. Security were all very welcoming and kept a close eye on the entrances but the area, and everywhere we went in Zanzibar, felt very safe regardless.

Wonderful stay. Z2 hotel is lovely and we had access to everything in Z1. I travel a lot and this was my favorite resort stay I’ve ever had. The staff members are WONDERFUL and I felt so lucky to get to know them. Sam, Raheema, Nora, and Abdullah are just a few of the wonderful staff members that made me feel like I was at home.

In my opinion, this hotel is absolutely terrible. When I made my reservation, I booked Hotel Z, but they placed me in another, smaller, guesthouse-style property called 2Z. The two properties are basically completely different hotels. They have different food, different breakfasts, and different facilities. If you stay at 2Z, you’re not allowed to have breakfast at Hotel Z, and there are all kinds of restrictions about what you can and cannot use at the other property. So, would I stay at this hotel again? Absolutely not. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either. I find the way they treat guests extremely discriminatory. They claim that it’s the same hotel, but if you stay at the 2Z property, you don’t have access to the breakfast, food, or many of the services at Hotel Z. They even serve different products, different meals, and different breakfast items. You pay a huge amount of money, but the experience is honestly not worth it at all.
