"Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage bei Niels. Sehr ruhige und bequeme Lage. Nicht weit vom Golfclub Lietzenhof. In der Ferienwohnung gab es alles, was man für den kurzen Aufenthalt braucht. Auch Kaffee, Salz, was man oft nicht dabei hat. Auch die Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Es hat an dem Tag geregnet. So konnten wir nach der Golfrunde die Jacken schnell trocknen. Schönes großes Bad mit viel Licht. Vielen Dank."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man so benötigt. Wir waren zu zweit für eine Woche untergebracht allerdings muss man bei mehr Personen schon sehr gut auskommen, da man ansonsten nicht allzu viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten hat. Wir kamen wunderbar mit dem Platzangebot aus.Zwar hatten wir kleinere Probleme, diese wurden aber sofort durch den Gastgeber behoben! "This was my first time staying alone in a hotel in Europe, so I needed some help understanding the lights, which the staff was very willing to explain. I returned at 4am from an event, and felt very safe as I figured out how to use my card to enter the hotel, which was wonderful....I asked for the room to be cleaned the next day on my way out, and forgot all about it until I returned, and my room was immaculate. I asked for a fan in my room, it appeared. Everything about my stay, from Lara at the reception desk to whomever cleaned my room, was wonderful, and I would highly recommend Ibis Hotel to anyone staying in Trier."

"Great place to stay before my early morning flight. Check-in staff were helpful and friendly. It was Sunday night and the restaurant was closed... and they let me know that the nearby gas station, a 10 minute walk, had food. This worked well. ------- However, I had a deeply unpleasant experience with the morning person who was to drive the shuttle. 1) I arrived in the lobby a few minutes before the shuttle was to leave, as I had been directed to by evening staff. At first this person told me I must register for a shuttle ride, but that I could walk to the airport, it wasn't far. I told him I had registered for a shuttle ride. Turns out I wasn't the only one... and the idea that I should walk when the shuttle would be going in any case was unkind and a bit insulting. 2) I approached the desk again as the shuttle was scheduled to leave in a minute. He told me to be patient. A few minutes later he called the other person, and let me know they would be right down. --- I felt like a second class person, not treated equally. I could walk, and the other person could be late."

"The hotel was very clean and plenty of paid parking. We didn’t have breakfast. Our main issue was the location which was further from the centre than we anticipated . It was a good 20-25 minute walk for us . Not normally a problem but with the heat this week we found it a difficult walk . We did however really relish the air con. Good supermarket a few minutes walk away"
