Located just 2 miles off Route 19 in Glen Jean, WV, 3 miles to Summit Bechtel Reserve and only 5 miles from the iconic New River Gorge Bridge and Fayetteville, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility.

The apartment features a spacious king bedroom and a modern bathroom with a beautiful tiled shower. In the living area, you'll find a comfortable queen sofa bed, ideal for extra guests. The full kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay.

Step outside and unwind around the propane fire pit, where you can enjoy the natural surroundings. The property is non-smoking inside, and we offer easy, keyless entry for a seamless check-in experience.

We found this apartment at the last minute of our New River Gorge National Park trip planning. It turned out a hidden gem to us. The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oak Hill, a perfect home base to visit New River Gorge and other state parks in the area. The apartment itself is cozy, charming, well lighted and spotless clean. We feel so comfortable and relaxed as at home. all appliances are well kept and properly functioned. Towels and bed sheets are soft, nice and available at guest's needs. The host, Rosemarie, is very well communicated, attentive and helpful all through our five-day stay. It was a wonderful stay for us at the Ridge of Sanger and hopefully we have another chance to visit the area again.Thanks so much.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, even though it was just for one night as a pit stop on our way to West Virginia. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the host was thoughtful and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings made it a truly serene experience. It's a beautiful property, and a beautiful home. Very well appointed in a nice out of the way neighborhood. We had easy access to the New River Gorge Bridge and the associated hikes as well as the national park office and information. The property owner, Rosemarie, was very helpful, kept in contact as needed and provided lots of suggestions and things to do and see. We are looking forward to going back to the area to see more sites and would definitely reserve this property if available. Thank you, Rosemarie.

Property was beautiful! Host has accounted for all details. Check-in was super easy and communication was great. I loved the quietness and serenity of the apartment. No complaints whatsoever! Everything was brand new, modern, and high quality! We wanted to stay longer!

New and light-filled unit adjoined to owner's house, in pretty surroundings. However, the owner was a bit rude and unpleasant to communicate with. She gave an annoyed response when I asked for the code of the house when we arrived, which was not in the emails I received from Expedia/Vrbo, or on my profile. "It's in the details!" she scolded. After arriving cold and damp from our outdoor adventures, all we wanted was a warm shower. We let the shower run for 5 minutes and still it was cold. I texted her and was met with another snippy response. Fortunately my husband finally found a small sign in the kitchen saying it takes time for the warm water to come on. It did after about 10 minutes. These interactions were very disappointing and put a damper on what was otherwise a nice rental. We've stayed in a hundred rentals but have never encountered a bad attitude like this from the owner. Usually owners go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating to their guests. For this reason, would not stay here again - would rather stay at a more welcoming rental with a patient host.

Excellent property

We loved this property and this area near the New River. So much to see, so many trails to hike, so many beautiful wildflowers. The owners have done an awesome renovation of this apartment. They have included many works done by different artisans from West Virginia. It was great to see these works of art. We can't say enough how happy we are with our choice of this property. You will not be disappointed. We highly recommend this property and these owners. The property and the owners are awesome.

Honeymoon Stop
