「The cabin was lovely and had everything you could need. The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. I was surprised that Lake Arrowhead is so crowded with houses. They are on small lots and seemed on top of each other. So it wasn’t the wilderness experience I was expecting. Also not very tourist friendly as only homeowners are allowed to use the lake.」

「This was everything we expected! Super nice place, great big patio. The layout of the house is a bit weird but totally fine. The best part is the location so close to the lake and brewery. As such, it's also right off of the main road so you can hear the traffic during the day so not the right place if you're looking for quiet secluded forest. Definitely the right place if you're looking for easy trails around the lake and walking distance to a lot of things to do!」

「Our second time here. All that matters about this place is the 180 degree ocean view. Just spectacular. Of course we also love the ease of checking in, the well stocked kitchen, and San Clemente in general. Seems to us that SC is a little less touristy than beach towns north and south. Great restaurants, great vibe. We even went to the old mission at San Juan Capistrano! We will definitely rent here again.」

「My girlfriends and I decided to go away for the weekend to relax and reconnect and Chateau Bernina delivered. First of all, check in is seamless! I never met the owner and I had a question for Michael and he responded immediately..very impressive response!! The Chateau was clean and the home was equipped with essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were all comfy. The jets for the jacuzzi in the master bedroom did not work, but the indoor jacuzzi and sauna...

「This was an amazing house with great fixtures and features. Very convenient location. The only small things that didn’t work was the downstairs shower due to the handle. I will say, they did offer to fix during our stay but we declined! So super fast response time! Then the downstairs toilet would run so we found this out when the water commissioner came in the am. Which was great!! Those two minor things didn’t stop us from having an amazing experience with the house!! Can’t wait to stay there...
