The Space:

This freshly renovated bungalow has been thoughtfully updated and newly furnished to instantly put you in a beachy, relaxed state of mind. Everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the living room and kitchen, creating a bright, inviting space perfect for gathering. Inside, you’ll find fresh, modern furnishings, smart TVs throughout, and high-speed internet. This is not just a rental—it’s our family’s home away from home, lovingly cared for and ready to be shared. Bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the home for added privacy, making this layout ideal for two couples or a small family.
Let the dogs roam freely in the fenced back yard while you rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Gather around the rock-surfaced fire pit for campfire stories and s’mores, or fire up the grill to enjoy your fresh catch of the day. Then melt your stress away in the amazing new 6-person hot tub—ideal for stargazing and evening unwinding. There's even a storm door featuring a doggy door for your furry friend's easy access in and out of the house. A spacious storage shed is also available for your use, perfect for stashing beach gear, bikes, fishing equipment, or anything else you bring along.
Ground Level: We are a one story home with only one stair to entry.
Private Drive: holds 4 cars, size dependent. Parking in the street is OK, boat trailers in the driveway are OK.
Living Room: Sectional Sofa with optional sleeping arrangement when unfolded. Bring your own sheets for the sofa bed.
Primary Bedroom Suite: King Bed, Ensuite Bath, Smart Device TV (Roku)
Primary Ensuite Bathroom: Walk-in spacious shower with vanity.
Guest Bedroom: Queen Bed, Smart Device TV (Roku), Reclining Chair that unfolds to a twin size bed.
Shared Hallway Bathroom- Tub/Shower with a Single Vanity
Kitchen- Fully stocked for cooking at home in an open space with a dining table
Parking: Private Driveway Pad for 2-3 cars, size dependent. On street parking allowed. No restriction on boat trailers.
Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.
Golf Carts are allowed at this property.

We adhere to this policy, so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pet Policy: Up to Two Dogs Allowed. One pet fee is included. Extra dogs must pay an added fee. No cats allowed. Oak Island Beach is pet-friendly, but you must follow guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.
Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.
Things To Do:
Oak Island is known for its golden sand beaches, calming blue waters, friendly community, and proximity to the cities of Southport, Wilmington, and Myrtle Beach. There are many cute island coffee shops, stores, breweries, and a park that showcases a splash pad for summer fun! With a beautiful Golf Club open to summer travelers and over 100 public water access points, there is an abundance of all things adventurous to do on Oak Island!
If you'd like to keep your fitness routine going while on vacation, you can get an out-of-town Gym pass at Oak Island Recreation Center. Utilize the Rec Center's ample parking, put in at the Kayak ramp, and spend hours kayaking our beautiful marshes. Sit on the lawn and enjoy a night off cooking at our Weekly Friday night "Summer Concert In The Park" with a couple of local food truck options at this family-centric Live Music event. Beach Day takes place in Oak Island on the Friday before July 4th and features all-day activities followed by fireworks on the island that evening.
Visit Historic Southport, a seafaring town just five miles from our island, for a bigger nightlife. Southport, at the confluence of the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean, features a variety of different restaurants, bars, live music and shopping. It is one of our favorite places to walk around and check out different food and live music on the weekends. There are free parking options all over town, and you can easily walk to dozens of places while enjoying the breeze from the riverfront and admiring historic homes and general store buildings that date back to the early 1800s. Southport's State Fourth of July Festival is a three-day street fair with artists from all over the state, vendors, and food. It is truly like being in an Andy Griffith episode with the parade and grand finale fireworks show over the riverfront in Southport.
