"I came to town with my husband to run a marathon. This home was in the perfect location, walking distance to the expo and finish line. It also turned out to be conveniently located by a handful of restaurants and a grocery store! We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the backyard games. The host was excellent with communication as well. I’ll stay here next year if we decide to run that marathon again….. which we likely will!"

"We were glad to have found this VRBO! The quiet neighborhood setting was more relaxing than staying at a busy hotel. The Hideaway was very clean and had everything we needed. "It was a nicely refurbished small apartment. Almost everything was great. The beds were very comfy and though we didn’t go to the beach, it’s really so close. My only issue was that there was sand in between the sheets when I climbed in to sleep. Maybe when the cleaners made the bed, somehow sand got in. Also there was a lot of dust on the lamps in the living room. But really nice otherwise."

"We really liked this place. Looking for a reasonably priced place where we could explore Carpinteria and Santa Barbara from and this place fit the bill perfectly! Just a few minutes walk to the beach and the apartment was immaculate! Very nice, with on-site laundry, comfortable beds - can't think of anything to nit-pick. Great place and we'll be back."

"Safe environment close to the ocean and dining. We walked the trail by the ocean everyday. The breakfast was a nice convenience and was served early. They included eggs, bacon, sausages and potatoes as well as cereal and toast options. The grounds are beautifully kept. We had a dog and a nice grassy area was provided for her use. "
