After breakfast, we enjoyed a lovely walk along the beach. It was such a beautiful and peaceful way to start the day! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and we only wished we had more time to relax by the pool before heading home to the Los Angeles area. Fortunately, it’s an easy drive for us, so we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Loved the ambiance, stayed here 40 years ago and so did my partner. The restaurant was amazing, best lamb chops I have had in years. The general service was great. Breakfast was okay, not great. But the place as a whole was fantastic Thank you

The Cliff House Inn has an amazing view of the ocean! It was incredibly relaxing to sit out back of the hotel and eat dinner and breakfast and just sit on the lawn chairs and see dolphins jumping in the sea waves. That said, while it appears that the hotel wants to be a nice place to stay, the pillows and mattress in the room were the cheapest possible and did not allow a good night's sleep. So why we were enjoying ourselves during the day, we could not rest well at night. If you stay here, it would be best to bring your own pillows.

How can you not be happy looking out at the Pacific in the moon light or at day break ? This is a quaint older property right on the water with a beautiful blue pool surrounded by giant palm trees, fig trees and gardens with some of the best smelling roses ever. I grew up down the coast and moved away years ago so to sleep with the windows open smell fresh salt air ,hear the surf was my idea of heaven. The staff was friendly and the dinner was awesome in their dining room. Great job !

Very cute and convenient little hotel, gorgeous views. The restaurant had excellent food but was very slow (they had a lot of customers for the dinner time though so it was understandable). Pool was lovely and perfect temperature.
