Loved this spot

Perfect for a weekend getaway with 3 adults and our 3 dogs. Location was great, so close to the south entrance into Yosemite as well as near bass lake and the little town. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed, would love to stay here again!

Great Location for Yosemite

We really enjoyed the property after hikes in Yosemite. Great host and location. I would definitely stay here again if we return.

Yosemite Trip

Stacy was so easy to work with and we loved staying here. It was a quiet location, and we loved having the outdoor area, patio, fire pit and pool table.

Great stay!

Overall, very good value of a group place for families and friends with a relatively quick car ride to Yosemite. Great property with grill and group areas that was unique. My main feedback if anything is that my friends complained a little about the quality of the beds with the box springs. I also didn't love the fact that we were required to clean the dishes/take out the trash after paying for both a service and host fee.

Wonderful Sierra retreat

Angel's Rest was just as it looked on-line only better. A wonderfully appointed and totally cozy cabin with a stunning view of tbe Sierra's. The location provided great outdoor spaces in a very calming setting!! Loved everything about it! Alreasy looking forward to coming back again

Yosemite Retreat

Our family was thoroughly impressed by Angel’s Rest. We used the cabin as home base for exploring Yosemite, and it was the perfect location. Lots of privacy, charm, and comfort. The home was very clean. The hosts had great communication, and we felt welcomed. Being nature people, we were happy to see a variety of birds each morning. We would absolutely stay here again.

An amazing cabin in an amazing location

We loved our stay here. The cabin had just the right amount of comfort and rustic that we were hoping for. But most of all we really loved the town of Oakhurst. That was a total surprise to us and its location right at the south entrance to yosemite was perfect. Everything was great and Stacy was a tremndous help during our stay. Thanks!

Cozy

Love the cabin its very cozy the cabin has great outside views several games to play my family really enjoy staying there. But i dont recommend for older people to stay there all beds are upstairs. I always travel with a blow up matress bed that we just laid out in the front room and it worked out great

Heaven on Earth

Wouldn’t change a thing…I’ll be back again and again bada bing! Comfey cozy with lots of room indoors and out, and old world charm. Games galore great place for family ,very close to Yosemite and most any shop you should need. Just love it!

Really nice place to stay, we enjoyed time with family here. Lots of games for kids 😍 But if you need privacy you probably need different cabin. Loft space for sleep, no doors… we was okay with it. Beds needs new mattress but we slept well, it’s okay for couple nights. Thank you for amazing time here 😊

A very special stay

We had such an amazing stay at the cabin! The property is so comfortable, so clean and so well kept, and had everything we needed and more! The extras like the pool table, games and the decor really made our stay special. Great location (5 mins from Oakhurst and Bass Lake, and 20 mins from Yosemite south gate) Stacy was a super host. Great communication, super friendly and made access really easy. Can't wait to visit again!

Angel's Rest Rocks!

Wonderful cabin setting. All the nice wood and river rock and decorations was pleasing to the eyes. Good place to do whatever. You can just relax, grill, bake, read a book, play games, or do Karaoke. We did all that and more. Excellent place to spend quality time with a group of friends. Lots to do in the area, including Yosemite, Bass Lake, and Oakhurst. We had 5 adult friends in our group and it was more than enough room.

Family trip to Yosemite

Our family of 4 from WI loved this place and wished we could have stayed there longer. We were day tripping it up to Yosemite each day that we were there, which this cabin was in good position for. About 20 minutes from the south gate and less than 10 minutes from Oakhurst to get groceries/dinner. Lots of space in the cabin, but as the host states, the steps to get to the beds on the upper portion of the unit are very steep but fine for our family to get up each night. Hosts were very responsive and we loved our stay!

So much more than meets the eye!

We absolutely LOVED our stay. The pictures depict a nice place, and it is. But it’s once you get there that you can see the impeccable attention to even the tiniest details. Literally everything you could need is provided. I was here with my wife and mother in law, but all the amenities Stacy provides makes this also the perfect place for a family getaway. Can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful mountain feel!

We all enjoyed staying here! Loved the outside deck especially. Stacy was very helpful and even stopped by to check in the day we arrived. Directions and description are very accurate in the listing, in that it is an original log cabin, and that the stairs and loft may not be ideal for everyone. We though loved the original log cabin feel, and the sleeping arrangements worked out fine for us—especially with the grandparents purchasing the on suite. Thank you again!

Fantastic cabin escape

From the moment we arrived it was perfect. The host, Stacy, is extremly friendly and helpful. She was very thorough in her descriptions and explanations. The listing of the cabin explains everything you can expect. The location was perfect and very peaceful. The mornings watching the sunrise were great and the evening under the stars were magic. Inside, this is truly a rustic cabin feel. Its feels lived in and not just a "set up" location. Be sure to read and understand the description of what the sleeping arangements are like before arriving or booking. It was perfect for us, but as mentioned in the description, with many people it couls be tight. The location was perfect to town as well as the park. Couldnt have had a better place!

Everything you need

There's nothing but good things to say about the place and the stay. Stacy communicated within minutes and the experience was exactly what we had expected, better actually. Often we stay in a place where there's 1 towel, a counted number of toiler paper rolls, and we had to go into town to but salt. Stacy's place is filled with attention to details, you don't have to worry about a thing. A couple of notes to future guests, google maps will direct you to the location through a dirt road way. Stacy showed us the correct entrance. The place has an open layout, with suit us fine. We liked the rustic nature of the place, and the fireplace was great to gather around. We took our small dogs so we went for the full experience. I recommend it!

Cute Mountain Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our Thanksgiving weekend getaway! The general living spaces were so comfortable and cozy! Loved the huge stone fireplace. We cooked all of our meals in the cabin and spent a day in Yosemite! Just be aware that the bedrooms are all up in the open dormitory like loft. Access to the loft was up very steep ladder like stairs. So it was a bit difficult to get up and down from the bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms had very comfortable double beds. The third bedroom had three single beds but they were not very comfortable. However the large living spaces, pool table, horseshoe pit, outdoor spaces and long dining table made for great family fun!
