A house in the clouds with a million dollar view!

4 br/2ba home in the montclair area of Oakland. The master bedroom is on the top floor with a full master bath and access to the 900 sq ft deck. The bottom floor has 3 Br (one is a gym) all with spectacular views of the bay area. Washer/dryer and the second bathroom. There is also a 900 sq ft deck with BBQ and full seating area and automatic sun awnings (including remotes) there is a 2 car garage fireplace, full kitchen even a foot massage machine!

Our stay at this property was nothing short of exceptional. The host was incredibly accommodating and always a quick message away. We spent every morning and evening on the deck, mesmerized by the spectacular city skyline—it’s easily the best seat in town. The neighborhood is quiet and is a few minutes from downtown Monclair, which is a beautiful little town. Inside, the kitchen is fully stocked and beautifully updated. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were spotless. It truly felt like a home away from home." We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at Ted’s place. We came back because it is perfect for us. Very nice and comfortable house with amazing views. Great location with restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and trailheads all 5 minutes away. Also easy to get to downtown Oakland or Berkeley. Ted is a very responsive host as well.

View from the deck was amazing, a great place to sit and enjoy any time of the day. Beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and towels provided. Several great spots to hike a close drive nearby. Ted gave us several great recommendations for hikes and eat in the close by town. Easy spot to hop on and off freeways.

Beautiful home with an AMAZING view

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. Ted was a wonderful host. We had 4 adults in the house. But there is plenty of room for 6. The kitchen is well appointed and the furnishings everywhere are very nice. The deck is fantastic with a motorized awning. We had absolutely beautiful weather while we were there and used the deck everyday. The view is amazing!!! Mountains and a full view of the bay. You can see clearly to the golden gate. The sunsets are beautiful!This is in a very nice area with beautiful state park hiking trails nearby. The village, just a little over a mile a way is nice. The Sushi place was great! There is a grocery and several restaurants. I really hope we can make it back there again.

My spouse and I spent two weeks here while recovering from surgery. Spacious yet cozy, with a view of Oakland and San Francisco that will dazzle your very soul. Well appointed with everything you need to chill in luxury and comfort.

Wonderful home and Beautiful view

This home was perfect for our family. You won't be disappointed with the view! We always felt safe. The main bedroom works great for those not able to manage the stairs. Having 3 bedrooms down stairs and a bathroom works great for the kids!! The deck is perfect. Owner was very easy to work with. Would love to stay here again.

Great stay in Oakland

Our family had a great stay in Oakland. The property was comfortable and functional and had an amazing view. Ted was a responsive host. Just a five minute drive to trailheads for a network of very nice trails in the nearby regional park and a five minute drive in the other direction to restaurants and grocery store.

Special place for a family gathering.

The views are everything! I enjoyed hanging out on the deck visiting with family so much. This is great place to gather with friends and family. The kitchen was well equipped and roomy enough for more than one cook. It also seems to be set up for dogs though we did not bring pets.

Great stay!

First off the picture of the view in the listing does not do it justice. The owner was great and receptive to short notice requests. We had a couple small hiccups in our stay and he was quick to respond and took care of the issues. I can’t possibly recommend this property enough! We hope to stay again in the fall.

Good leaser. Friendly, helpful and easy to reach. The Oakland hills views from the house are terrific (maybe the best in the Bay Area) and the home is comfortable, and no great number of stairs to climb. Parking is a two car garage at the living level so loading and unloading luggage is easy. We'd love to come back, god willing.

Excellent host and property

The house has one of the most beautiful views of the entire Bay Area and the deck and top level are built to take advantage of the view; it's lovely. This worked well for our family as I was able to stay in the upstairs bed/bath and the adults and two children were accommodated in the downstairs beds/bath. The host is very good with communication and the property is outfitted very comfortably.
