Great central location. Our room was clean and quiet. Comfy bed. Like the pump shampoo instead of the little bottles. Breakfast was very good. Coffee was excellent. Staff is very nice. Third party valet parking service was very good. We considered the expense as part of the room expense and feel it was an overall good value. We have paid as much in Oakland without a parking fee.

The staff is always very polite and courteous. But there was a person already staying in the room they gave us! We walked in on them. It was awful. They quickly gave us another room but they didn't comp us at all. It was disconcerting experience.

Beautifully and well-kept facility with a most welcoming staff. The light buffet breakfast that is served first thing in the morning--at no extra charge--is a great way to start the day! I used to stay at the big Marriott up the street, but the HamptonInn has all the benefits of Marriott at a much lower price!

Location is great, the food and shops within walking distance we loved! Great bread, great shower pressure/soap and shampoo is fantastic. Continual breakfast includes hard boiled eggs. we had a couple interactions that were not the best with the front desk staff. There is public vaket on site. we recommend going down for your car. trust me. Def would go back and now I know who and what to avoid for the perfect stay!
