Beautiful classic hotel in excellent location allowing nearby proximity to Oaxaca’s cultural features while providing a quiet refuge from the city noice. The staff went above and beyond to ensure your comfort from welcoming arrival, offering bottled water when you would be leaving to explore the area, personal attention during the stay and upon checkout.

The staff were all courteous and very welcoming. Luis and Eve were always there to help in any way they could. We appreciated the welcome gift as well as the parting gifts. Much appreciated and not expected. Also the continental breakfast every morning was appreciated. We would highly recommend staying at NaNa Vida in Oaxaca city. Thank you.

The staff was great, so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, great connections to area restaurants and attractions. Their coffees are the best! However the rooms could be cleaner--a lot cleaner. The rooms are small with very little natural light coming in, and the sink was located outside the bathroom. Find a more dedicated cleaning staff and you'll be a 5-star hotel.

Beautiful common spaces, large and well-decorated room, and very friendly and hospitable staff. I had a very early flight and the staff were super helpful in determining how early I should leave and booking me a cab. They also provided some cute gifts! I’d love to come back for a longer stay!

Unfortunately we were only booked at NaNa Vida for one night, and we left early in the morning before breakfast was served. I wish we had stayed longer! Very nice rooms, quiet, beautiful inner court yard. Staff helpful. If we return to Oaxaca, we will try to stay multiple nights.

Great area, lovely stay.
Only thing to note - One of the nights there was firecrackers going off until 3am in the morning near the hotel, so just be aware if you’re sensitive to noise or a light sleeper. Not really the hotel’s fault, more a Oaxaca thing that people there just love setting off firecrackers.
