"Had a wonderful stay at the Green Rich Hotel. It was a bonus to have shuttle service from the airport though it's literally a 10 minute walk. However, if you have a 90 y/o dad with you, it's helpful since a taxi would definitely not take you. When I called earlier about pick up times, they say to call them when you need the ride. However, if you don't have a cell phone or a phone that can dial in Japan, it's hard to find a public phone these days. I ended up going to the information desk and they called the hotel on my behalf! The other issue by not having a cell phone is that you can't make calls from the hotel phone. You can receive calls from the outside but no calls going to the outside are possible. That seems to be the case with a lot of hotels these days. They said that they incorporated this policy this year. Outside of the hotel, we didn't find much in terms of restaurants. We arrived on a Sunday and the only thing available to eat was the 7-11 which has decent food compared to 7-11's in the rest of the world but it's still a 7-11... It's nice to have a public bath in the hotel and the breakfast buffet is tasty and very filling. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious. For the price, this will be our go to place whenever we visit Itami. "

"The staff were very nice, and I liked the shuttle bus service. The ryokan was clean and excellent to use. The dinner was fancy, but it did not taste very good for the price. "

"Spa was wonderful. Got a shiatsu massage afterward dinner in our traditional Japanese room with tatami mats, futon, resting area, view of bamboo forest and private onsen. It was magical!"

Really wonderful experience for my family to get together and enjoy. One thing I didn't expect - our room was in a special area that didn't allow a local friend of mine to visit without a $75 extra charge. A shame because the room was so spacious and I had ordered a cake to share. Just something to be wary of if booking a room with a private bath. "
