Upon arriving and informing the front desk I was there to check in I was simply told ‘no’. When I explained I had a reservation through Expedia the lady checked and proceeded to check me in but continued complaining about it. Hardly welcoming. We just wanted to get some snacks from the restaurant and watch the football but the restaurant was really full service with no option to get snacks. We were told any food we wanted would take an hour. We asked if we needed a reservation but were told no so we just got drinks and settled in to watch the football. About 10 minutes later the restaurant staff came and told us to come as they were ready now which was confusing since they had said an hour, anyway we went to eat. The food was good. The room was excellent, the 2 bedroom suite was huge, clean and comfortable. Great accommodation but the service could be better.

Meine Frau und ich hatten in der Sachsenbaude ein paar sehr schöne Tage. Zu bemängeln ist allerdings das Essen, zu teuer für Qualität und Geschmack. Auch das parken für 10,00 € pro Tag ist überteuert. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden, uns hat es gut gefallen.

Schöne Umgebung, super freundlicher Empfang, sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer top und sauber. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und große Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Obst, Gemüse und sonstiges ... für jeden Geschmack gibt es das richtige. Abendessen... gut bürgerliche, deutsche Küche für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, sehr reichhaltig und super lecker... große Auswahl an den verschiedensten Getränken. Fazit... wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt...ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Personal. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Die Sachsenbaude ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Die Sachsenbaude haben wir nicht das 1. Mal besucht. Jedes mal war was verändert. Dieses mal hat man die Einrichtung der Lobby und des grossen Raumes im Hinterem Teil modernisiert. Uns hat das Alte schwere Lederinventar auch gefallen. das steht im hinteren Teil jetzt, als Lounge. In der Lobby sind jetzt moderne Sessel eingezogen. Sehr edel. Desweiteren gefällt uns die WellnessOase. Schwimmbad und Aussenwhirlpool. Einfach super. Entspannung da pur. Die Mitarbeiter alle super. Gingen auf alle Wünsche ein. Nett und freundlich. Wir kommen immer gern wieder. Einfach nur zu empfehlen. Wer abschalten will. Ruhe und Entspannung sucht. Ist hier richtig

Schöne Unterkunft mit schlechtem Abendessen

Unterkunft und Zimmer sind schön, Personal absolut nett, Wellness klein, aber fein, Frühstück gut. ABER: Abendessen ziemliche Katastrophe, schon die Auswahl klein und merkwürdig, Qualität mäßig, Wein ebenfalls mäßig und teuer. Sehr schade, denn wenn man sich so abgelegen ein eher teures Hotel sucht, will man auch abends anständig essen können. Nur aufgrund des Essens könnte man mit der Gesamtnote tiefer gehen.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel und nettes Ambiente.

Das Personal war sehr nett und teilweise sehr aufmerksam. Obwohl Sachsen nicht sehr katholisch ist und Ostern hier wahrscheinlich so ein Hochfest, wäre es schön gewesen, wenn am Ostersonntag der Frühstückstisch ein wenig festlicher gedeckt gewesen wäre.( Evtl. mit Kerze und einer kleinen österlichen Verschönerung) Der Wellnessbereich ist auch sehr ansprechend und sauber.

Kleines, aber feines Hotel auf dem Berg

Es hat uns bestens in diesem Hotel gefallen. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit und am Service gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Das Frühstücksangebot im Wintergarten war vielfältig und die Speisen am Abend schmackhaft. Besonders hervorzuheben sind der Pool und die Sauna - überaus sauber und gepflegt. Für Skifahrer gibt es neben dem Eingang einen Ski-Pavillon, wo Ski und Stöcke aufbewahrt werden. Als sehr günstig erwiesen sich die gepflegten Langlaufloipen direkt neben dem Hotel. Nicht ganz 4 Sterne-Niveau hat das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Mobiliar (einschl. Betten). Aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen gern wieder und können dieses gemütliche Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Grand svit, naturnära och lugnt läge

Hotellet var bra och rummet rent. Rummet var stort, vi hade beställt ett extra stort rum. Av priset hade vi dock väntat oss högre standard. Av någon anledning fick vi sämre service och mindre uppmärksamhet än övriga gäster de första frukostarna. Sista frukosten hade personalbyte skett och vi fick bra och trevligt bemötande.

Wir haben den Wochenendaufenthalt zum relaxen genutzt (Winterspaziergänge, Sauna und Massage). Ideal ist es natürlich auch im Winter für Skilanglauf und zum Gipfel des Berges für Skiabfahrt ist es ja auch nicht weit. Aber auch im Sommer kann man ausgiebige Wanderungen durchführen. Die Bewirtung der Gäste ist sehr gut - freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Hotel kann man wirklich weiter empfehlen und auch wir werden es wieder besuchen.

Winterurlaub im Erzgebirge

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage um auf den Fichtelberg zu wandern oder auch nach Oberwiesenthal. Der Wellnessbereich ist klein, aber fein. Leider ist der Frühstücksservice nicht gut. Die Speisekarte muss nicht umfangreicher, dafür aber die Gerichte attraktiver auf dem Teller präsentiert und vor allen Dingen schmackhafter sein. Insgesamt ist meiner Meinung nach der Preis zu hoch für die erbrachte Leistung.
