The apartment was damp and smelt. No hairdryer. Only stayed one night. Had to move out. Rang Vrbo and instead of dealing with it you told me to ring the owner. I paid Vrbo. My contract was with Vrbo. NEVER AGAIN. I expect 5 days refunded.

We have never rented such a comfortable and roomy place before. The flat is very spacious and nicely furnished, from the kitchen and living room you have an excellent view of the sea. Cleaning and change of towels is provided without any extra fees. 10 Minute walk to the sea with beautiful beach. The pool is fantastic. As the sea can be dangerous (not only for children) and really cold (we used wet suits in the middle of July) we were happy to have the big pool. You definitely need a car because the shops and supermarket are 20-25 minutes away from the place. We also enjoyed going to Lisbon (one hour drive) and Porto (a bit more than two hours) as well as going to places like Santarem (inland) or visiting convents like Batalha, Alcobaca, Tomar. Nazaré is also well worth a visit with excellent and cheap fish restaurants.

Perfectly situated to take advantage of the Atlantic breezes and avoiding the intensity of the summer sun, this top floor apartment in this lovely resort community fit our family's needs. Our host was very responsive, and the apartment was well appointed with very firm mattresses and enough living room seating for 4, plus dining area seating for 6. The upper loft area was a curiosity, but not truly functional as the narrow spiral staircase was not easy to use. Washcloths and additional towels for the beach/pool would have been helpful. Don't expect the dryer program to work on the clothes washer/dryer, but the summer sun and the drying rack was adequate compensation. Lovely resort community!

Very spacious, comfortable and well appointed apartment. The resort did appear to be exceptionally quiet and the majority of the time the Pool might have well been private as there was no-one to share it with. The Atlantic Coast is beautiful and easily accessible - the resort does only have one shop - which you should only use if you need to buy bread and milk as it is very expensive. Top tip - a woman just outside the resort sells fruit and veg - not sure she grows it however she has a table and you can buy stuff on a daily basis. A car is definitely needed if you wish to get out and about - there is plenty to see and do and the beaches are empty and just the most beautiful I have ever seen. I don't play golf however the surfing is excellent - if you have not done it before book a lesson and get taught how to do then just turn up and hire as it is very cheap. Lisbon is an easy day trip and seems to be a marmite city - you either love it or hate it - if you need to get around the city park up somewhere and take taxis - they are exceptionally cheap especially if you have a family of 4 - 7 Euros from Torre Del Bellem to City Centre. Visit Peniche for the Supermarket - as this is the best place to get food. Overall this apartment was just what we were looking for and definitely exceeded our expectations and have already thought about returning to use the excellent tennis facilities and to also do some more surfing.

Penso que relativamente ao quarto do sótão, deveriam ser mais claros quanto ao acesso para o mesmo, visto que aquela escadaria é complexa. E, o mesmo quarto deveria ter privacidade e armários, o que acontece nos outros. Penso que esta informação deveria ser mais clara para os hóspedes.

We had a great stay in the wonderful appartment. Big kudos to Ana, who welcomed us, gave us a great introduction and many good tips for the area and helped us with questions. The place is very spacious and well equipped. Only challenge we had are the beds, which are a little on the hard side - but Ana provided a Topper which very much improved the situation. Beach is wonderful to walk along and watch the marvelous cliffs. As mentioned by others area can have lower temps then surrounding area due to cloud cover in summer.. Bring light coat for evening dinners outside.Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren während der Corona - Krise im August 20 die Hygienevorschriften wurden sehr genau eingehalten. Wir haben uns sicher gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

We were met at the property by the owner and shown around. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely views. The outside photos on the website don't really do it justice. The resort is very well kept and a good location for visiting Óbidos and Alcobaça, which was stunning. The beach is just 10 minutes walk away and is beautiful, but usually not suitable for swimming. I had only one query for the owner, and she responded immediately. I would recommend this apartment for a relaxing seaside holiday.

L'appartement est spacieux et confortable (très bien équipé), avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan qui est à deux pas. La région est magnifique, particulièrement le lagon d'Obidos. Nous avons pu visiter Lisbone et Sintra qui sont à une heure de route. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

We had a wonderful stay in this very spacious and well presented apartment. The location was perfect for us as a base to explore the local area as well as further north along the coast to enjoy the many beautiful towns and lagoons on route. The proximity to Lisbon also worked really well for us and we also found an easily drivable track from the within the golf course, cross-country to the swimming beach in the next town. There were lots of helpful suggestions for places to visit and dine and we were greeted by a very friendly welcome and orientation on arrival. Many thanks Carol - we absolutely intend to make a return trip!

Uma semana passada neste apartamento que é fantástico e que está inserido num condomínio muito agradável. O apartamento limpo, muitíssimo bem equipado com tudo o que é necessário e bastante espaçoso. Situado numa zona tranquila, de fácil acesso a vários pontos de visita e a uns metros da praia. O condomínio também muito arranjado e limpo, com jardins bem tratados e uma piscina muito boa e um parque infantil. Um agradecimento à sua proprietária, pela forma simpática com que tratou de tudo. Parabéns pelo fantástico apartamento. Recomendo

Our second visit to Praia del Rey, October is a good time to visit. This is a great apartment with 3 excellent bedrooms, two good size bathrooms and an excellent kitchen. Views towards the sea and 10th fairway of one of the best golf courses in Portugal. Good space in he apartment and good furnishings. Shop in the resort and a vegetable seller near the entrance. The club house and the hotel all provide good food and drink. Very convenient for exploring Portugal and relaxing with golf, tennis and swimming. Well worth a visit!
