  • High Point South is a luxurious rental located in Ocean City, MD. This exquisite unit offers stunning views of the ocean and provides a comfortable and elegant living space for guests. HPS offers an outdoor Pool (Seasonal).

    This direct ocean Front building has easy access to the beach for sunbathing or to cool off in the ocean. This unit features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 8 people. The interior is beautifully appointed with modern furnishings and tasteful decor, creating a stylish, inviting and relaxing atmosphere.
    Bedroom 1: – 1 King size bed
    Bedroom 2: – 1 Queen size bed
    Bedroom 3: – 1 Bunk bed, a twin over a double

    Additionally, the unit offers high-speed internet, cable TV, and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable stay.
    High Point South is situated in a convenient location, allowing guests to explore the nearby attractions, restaurants, and many daytime and nighttime entertainment options that Ocean City has to offer.

    No pets are allowed. Smoking/vaping is not permitted in the unit, on the balconies, nor in any common areas of the building. Groups of members of 25+ and family rentals only.
    There are 2 parking spaces available in the parking lot. Parking requires payment at the machine located at the north end of the building.

    Complimentary fresh sheets and a towel package are included with every reservation of 3 nights or more, ensuring a hassle-free experience from the moment you arrive. This will include 2 sheets for each sleeping surface, pillowcases for all the pillows and a set of towels for each guest (1-bath towel, 1-Hand towel and 1-wash cloth per guest). For hygiene and sanitation purposes, linens are professionally prepared, sealed in plastic and provided in a package. Guests will be responsible for making their own beds upon arrival. We always try to create unique vacation rental experience for guests at our properties, and we strive to provide a consistent, top-notch service. Our 24/7 local area team is there for you and ready to assist with anything you will need before or during your stay.

Location is perfect. The pool and being by the beach was great. The host was not very responsive to issues we were having. The unit was not cleaned properly, they did offer to send someone back out but at that point we purchased our own cleaning supplies and took care of it ourselves. The hallway bathroom reeked of urine. The master bath water did not turn off and it took us several attempts to reach someone to take care of it. The unit is not updated/renovated as the listing states. The front door does not have a way to lock from the inside making it very easy for our little kids to open and run out. We put a child safety lock on the door but a deadbolt or another means to lock from inside definitely needs to be added.

The check-in process was easy enough. It's an odd door lock, but at least the process was contactless. The overall cleanliness of the condo was subpar, absolutely disgusting--food crumbs under the bed and couch; layers of dust EVERYWHERE; moldy gasket in the washing machine; mold along ceiling in one of the bedrooms...I could go on. The condo is listed as having two full bathrooms. The shower in the main bedroom doesn't even have a shower head and was inoperable. I messaged the host our 1st (of 3) evenings here to advise the shower was not working. Someone came relatively quickly to check and he said a plumber would have to come the next day to repair it. The following day (Friday), after not hearing from the host, I sent a message requesting an update on the plumber. He responded the plumber would need 4-6 hours for the repair and would come the FOLLOWING day (Saturday). There are 7 people in our group, including 3 elderly, sharing 1 shower. I responded waiting another day was inconvenient and unacceptable. As of Saturday evening, no additional communication from the host, much less a plumber. I also sent a message to the host about the washing machine that will not unlock. The cycle finished and remains locked with wet towels inside. We're supposed to gather the towels for the linen service or be charged an additional fee. Again, zero communication from the host addressing this issue.
