ADA home, need small improvements

The house was has a ramp, clean, spacious, & wide doors. Could use addition of grab bars for the disabled in the restrooms. Outside of this it looked like the pictures. The WiFi didn’t connect. The neighborhood pool was nice, along with the people. Great location to see 4th of July fireworks.

There were no glasses! Just coffee mugs. The amount of lint on the dryer vent could’ve started a fire. The inside of the microwave was filthy. But everything else was great. The handicap accessibility was top notch. Really helped with my Mom. The handicap accessible shower was great! Wish there was outdoor table & chairs. Weird that there were no beach chairs or beach towels considering it’s a “beach house”. Also the outside shower didn’t work. We still had a good time, but those items need to be addressed.

Beautiful house, enjoyed sray

The house itself was beautiful and charming. WiFi was down the whole time. I reached out to the property manager who at first said they wanted to help me and then ignored my request for help. WiFi kicked us off all week and nobody helped. However, the house itself was very nice and was roomy for our family.

Great location needs some help

Overall our stay was pleasant, it was a great location only a few min walk to the beach. The community pools were great and a highlight was the miniature golf course. We we not thrilled about the place being dirty. The floors were not clean the kitchen window curtain and stains on it, and dead ants on kitchen wall the fridge was dirty and to found a couple plates that must not have been clean from the dishwasher. Also the outdoor shower wasn’t working. It could use some help with being more clean, but other than that it was a great stay.

Average home, which is fine because we weren't spending a ton of time there. However, cleanliness is less to be desired. The previous guests put away dirty dishes, I mean I'm surprised there weren't any ants. Obviously the place wasn't inspected. The maintenance guy gave "sometimes this happens and I'm overworked" excuse. He came "back" to "reclean". I didn't expect a palace, but I did expect it to be clean. I did like the community pool access and short walk to the beach.

The communication between the Vacasa property manager and personnel was very poor.

The beds were horrific, every time anyone moved during the night the beds squeaked like crazy. Very uncomfortable. The unit was poorly cleaned in many areas. We couldn't find the whereabouts of the pool pass until late yesterday and we checked out today. Each human that I spoke with said they'd get right back with me, most never did. There were dirty dishes and pans in the cupboards, not even minimally cleaned. Furniture in the living room was severely stained and ripped. We had stayed the previous week at Sunset Bay in a gorgeous, updated 3 br condo for considerably less money, per night. This unit has potential, but it's outrageous that their photos are so misleading.

Great Place To Stay!

We were very happy with the house. Very clean when we arrived, and everything in the add was there and functional. Only thing I would change is add another twin bed in the bedroom nearest to the kitchen. Tons of room for one in there. But all in all it was a great stay and we plan to come back in the future!

Nice place

Overall it was a nice place. Has enough room and convenient location for beach and good restaurants. Cabinet door in front of kitchen sink fell off when opened. Would have like to have something like that addressed prior to moving in. Cleaning people obviously knew that. If you are planning on spending time watching television there was only one television in the house with a small amount of tv station options. Overall I would stay there again.

A great place to stay!

There is a lot to love with this home! It's 15 minutes to walk to the beach. Having the driveway to park in was nice. There's a great dining room table (excellent for playing board games!) and a nice kitchen area with a microwave, Keurig, and toaster. The two bathrooms are nice, and the showers had nice hot water. Everything was clean as well. Zero bugs/ants/anything! What keeps it from being 5 stars is that none of the outdoor faucets worked! So we could not rinse off the sand from the beach before we came inside. We also ran out of toilet paper and paper towels, since they only left 1 extra roll of each, which seemed kind of stingy. Also, the bunk bed would probably work for kids or young people, but for the two ladies in their mid 30s who slept there, it was not the most comfortable sleep. With those few improvements taken care of, it would be 5 stars easy!

Great place and roomy

I loved wide hallways and doors for wheelchair. Quiet place and street, plenty of room for me and two caregivers who each had a room! We had three ceiling fans that we couldn’t get tassel to pull and turn fans off. But we called and they had a maintenance guy there next day who adjusted the fans because tassels were missing or broken. But very responsive and helpful. They just need to get new tassels for ceiling fans for next guest! Overall great experience! Rollin shower worked but not very deep for a standard shower wheelchair.

This Home Needs Help

Great location and good accessibility, but sadly, that's where it ends. Beds had food crumbs, hair & bugs when we arrived, dirty kitchen, including grease filled cookie sheets in oven, & living room upholstery dirty & sandy. Not one hanger in entire house. Dirty magazines from 2012. Home needs major maintenance, including a paint job.

Fantastic Experience

The home is literally steps away from the beach. I have two young children and this house was perfect for our mini family vacation. Plenty of space for my 4 year old to stretch his legs and my 4 month old could nap without being disturbed. The rooms are all a nice size and the kitchen/dining area were open and spacious which was great during meal times and hanging out with the rest of the family. Only cons: one of the bedrooms didnt get as cool as the other rooms and the wifi password was incorrect but we contacted Vacasa and they put us in touch with who I believe was the owner and they gave us the correct information. We will definitely be back!

House was very comfortable.

The only downside to this rental is the outside water does not work. Therefore it is hard to keep sand out of the house and we weren’t able to rinse our stuff off.

Perfect weekend getaway for the 5 of us!

There was plenty of room to cook dinners, play board games, and watch movies in the evenings. Plus it was only a short walk to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable - and the neighbors I met were friendly. We would stay here again.

Very nice but had some ants

The place was great. Very big and very quiet. Only issue was there is a bit of an ant problem. We ordered a pizza and put the box in the trash. An hour later the kitchen had many ants crawling around.

Pest Problem

This house has an ant problem. I had read this in other reviews, but I thought it would have been taken care of. Ant traps and spray are not the answers. Renters shouldn’t have to deal with this problem. For the amount I paid to rent for a mini week, you can easily get an exterminator to take care of the problem. Also outside faucet was not working. Also read that in previous review so you would think that would have been fixed as well. Sand was hard to keep out of house because of that. If those two issues would have been taken care of, this house would have gotten five stars easily.
