Love this condo! Great location, clean, and perfect for our needs!

We have stayed in this condo for 3 years and we love it! It is very comfortable and clean. It's also well-situated in Ocean City, especially for families. We love being able to see the beach and the bay from the balcony and having such quick access to the beach is amazing. We absolutely love the place, especially the upgrades that they have made over the years, and will continue to stay here for years to come!

Love this condo!

We love this place and its proximity to the beach. This was our second time renting this condo and they recently updated the floors and some other things and made it so much more comfortable! We love it and will definitely book again!

Great place to stay!

The property and location were great. The cleaning of the unit could have been more thorough. The floors were still dirty (appeared to have been vacuumed but not mopped) and there was still some hair on the shower walls. Otherwise it was a great trip. We would definitely stay again even with the small cleaning issue!

Great view

Overall the condo was clean with enough room for our family. I would definitely recommend it. I would recommend changing the door unlocking process. A door code should not be longer than a social security number. Also, it was a turn to the right not left. Please edit the door process. Please replace the pans.

Fabulous View + Great Location

This condo was so nice that I would rent it again. The view from the deck up the beach was amazing. It’s steps from the beach. Nice pool, too, although we wished the pool were open a little longer. Two parking spaces plus Delaware State Park spots across Lighthouse Rd and free parking on 145th St made it easy for friends to stop by. The property manager delivered new frying pans an hour after I requested them! The only downside was a streaming only LG TV that wouldn’t pick up the wireless signal. This issue wasn’t resolved in a timely way and we had a pretty gloomy day outside. Hopefully it was resolved before the renters behind us showed up.

Really nice place with a great location

We were really impressed with the interior. Very pleasant and looks great. The living room is especially comfortable. Big table to eat at, nice kitchen counterspace for all your stuff. For beach access, it's perfect -- you leave the complex and exit right on to a walking path. The location of this suite in particular is great -- top floor and facing into Delaware, meaning there isn't another Condo complex to look at. Instead, you see the beach from your room. Literally this condo is 12 feet from Delaware. Nice parking, with additional street parking. Bedding, dishes, silverware, cups and a few extra supplies were all provided. Nice stuff. Thanks! The TVs allowed you to log into your streaming accounts. Overall, I would absolutely rent again -- we're already making plans. Here are our nitpicks: -- The Door Lock: The lock was terrible to use. Online instructions were different than what we were told when we called in. The keypad lock is very tough to use because the number sequence is so long. -- The Pool: Hours are stupidly short. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Even though the pool faces west, and gets tons of late afternoon and evening sunlight, you can't use it after 6. What's the point then? Might as well pave it over to park a few extra cars. -- Instructions: We were emailed some instructions about how to use and close the condo. These instructions were different from those posted in the room. -- Rinse-off water: You need a special key from your room to use the hose. That was annoying. -- Bathroom for guests: If you have to use the restroom while on the beach or at the pool, you have use a port-a-potty or go back to your room . There should be a functioning bathroom as part of the pool area. -- Again, these are only nitpicks (except the lock -- man, was that annoying!). We're hoping to return!

a low maintenance week

The apartment was quite accommodating for our group in terms of space. Private, quiet, close to everything. Our balcony was exceptional because we could view the ocean, bay, the sunrise, AND the sunset.

Everything was great but check out

The condo is very nice and clean. There were zero issues except for when we were getting ready to leave. Literally as we were walking up from getting the luggage cart, the owner is knocking on the door at 10 asking how long we were going to be. We were trying to straighten up the unit, leave it in better condition then when we got there. But literally at 10 am while trying to load our luggage owner is there and then the cleaning crew shows up a few minutes later.Just through our luggage on the cart and left. Everything was great except for the very end of our stay. We were completely out of the condo a few minutes after 10, but I have never had the experience. Everything was great but that, made me question if I will book through the same site again.

Old humid condo

Old carpet, very humid rooms so they need a humidifier. The air quality must be poor because I was sick with allergies in my second day. We need more lights in bathrooms and bedrooms. Old bathrooms.

OP 519 is a beautiful unit with amazing views. Very clean upon arrival and we appreciated the towel and sheet service. Two non-working tv’s with missing remotes. Limited Wi-Fi speed did not accommodate the use of a Fire Stick or the use of multiple devices. Deck furniture was old rusted and two chairs were broken. Beds and bedding were very good and clean. Small improvements would make this unit a 5-Star rental. We would rent again.

Not as advertised

The description of this property is misleading. Although it states "newly remodeled as of 2021," the kitchen is exactly the same as when the condo was built 40 years ago: same cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring. The carpet is also original; bathrooms slightly renovated. (For 30+ years, I was part owner of a unit in this building so know what the units looked like when built.) Because previous renters commented on rusted balcony furniture, cleaning issues, carpet stains, etc., I asked about these before we came. The response: "The property caretaker has informed us that the TV's are indeed working and the patio furniture was replaced. You are also welcome to watch hulu or netflix or free cable in the living room while the house is cleaned on Saturday." The unit had been cleaned when we arrived but the outside furniture had NOT been replaced and there is no cable TV in the unit, only Pluto. The carpet had stains and the living room furniture was dirty. On the plus side, the mattresses are comfortable and there were plenty of linens in the unit so we covered the sofa and chair with sheets, which helped with the odor. The view from this condo is wonderful, which is the main reason we booked it. I suggest that future renters bring camping chairs to enjoy the balcony. (I wrote to VACASA about the furniture after we arrived: the response was "your feedback has been sent to the local manager and they have stated they will not be replacing the furniture because it is rusted.")

Not what we expected!

This property is listed as recently updated but the kitchen and bathrooms need some serious TLC! Also rug in the living room is a serious trip hazard. All 3 guests staying had an "almost" fall from triping over the edges which are curling up! The bathrooms were dirty when we arrived and we were missing linens in the bathrooms. Although they sent someone out 2 hours after we arrived to clean she did not have the appropriate hand towels and wash cloths on hand to provide. A linen package arrived on Saturday (24 hours after arrival). The TV did not work at all because there was NO SIGNAL and although Vacassa was notified it was never rectified. Definitely not what we expeced!!

Paradise close to home

Great pool, easy beach access, room was updated,, likely professionally decorated. Gorgeous! Furniture on porch needs replaced but we did ok with it. Kids never sit down anyway! Loved it. Even when it rains you have an amazing view! There was a thunderstorm one night, and the clouds over the ocean were mesmerizing!!!

Location and view were great condo needs some work

The description that this condo was recently remodeled is misleading. New paint and furniture is not remodeled. The condo was dated. The trash compactor was old and gross. The garage disposal didn't work. The carpeting everywhere is a bad idea because it was stained and the rugs on top of carpet are a tripping hazard. The bathrooms were clean but old. There was a pee stain on the mattress cover on the queen bed and bed skirt was safety pinned on. The chairs on the balcony were rusted out. The pool was nice and clean. You are really paying for the view and location.
