"Property was perfect for our family- the kids lived in the pool and hot tub, despite the cool weather! The kitchen was well appointed and we had everything we needed. Penny checked in on us via text to make sure everything was ok. Would stay again!"

"We had a great stay! The house was immaculately clean, the kitchen was stocked better than any rental I’ve stayed in, and proximity to the beach was unmatched. The only negative for our family was the space - with 3 couples and 3 very small children and we were quite cramped. We had a hard time keeping the little ones asleep without hearing the others (if one woke in the night). That is not anything the host could improve upon but just a note for other families to consider! Overall, a really wonderful property!"

"For the price, you pay for what you get here. The location was wonderful and the quiet street was lovely. We enjoyed the private shower under the porch. The host is kind and responsive. The basement wasn’t connected to the main living area of the home so we could not have the kids use it, and it was a little musty like some other reviews have said. The sheets and furniture were clean but the main dining table was very sticky, even after cleaning it. Overall a good stay in OKI."

"We had a very good experience overall. Compared to other 3-bedroom, first-row properties in the area, this one is among the most cost-effective. The view from the back porch is excellent, the neighborhood is family-friendly, and access to the beach is easy (via the public access route one house away). Salt and Sand Realty is responsive. You can expect to receive automated text messages from them daily, so they stay in touch. They were also responsive by phone and text when we reached out. I appreciated the credit they provided for VayKGear rental services, which we leveraged to acquire beach chairs and a small cart, which are not included in the cost of the property.Some issues: (1) The ceiling light in the living room was not working upon arrival, so seating area was dark at night. Salt and Sand Realty arranged for that to get fixed within 2 days of check-in. (2) While the property is advertised for 9 visitors, only 6 chairs are provided for dining. We asked if we could have a couple of foldable chairs, but the owners of the property declined the request. There are no bar stools either, so a large group may need to either take shifts during a meal, or sit in different spots. (3) The top bunks were not made, despite us indicating that we were a full part of 9. (5) the automated key pad didn't work a couple of times, so we needed help getting in. (6) Not enough glasses in the kitchen, which were topped up 2 days in."
