Property was not like pictures on Vrbo

Lawn was a foot tall and mowed last day at room. Deck furniture was rusted and broken. Picture on add were much nicer then actual place. Had a good time and stay for the price

Mixed review

The property is a bit tired. The tub did not drain but they cleared the hair clog. Half of the condo units are for sale--telling in and of itself.

Dirty/uncomfortable

Unfortunately we were only able to stay about 11 hours of our 3 day stay. While we were there…we noticed how disgusting and dirty the place was. Carpet is absolutely gross, the shower are was dirty. I don’t think it had even been clean. I did pay for a clean place to stay, didn’t get it. Won’t be back and my entire family stays in these condos almost every time we come down to the ocean. Very disappointed!

Cozy and convenient

My family of four stayed here with our dog for two nights and had a lovely time. Our number one goal was to have easy access to the ocean -- this little converted condo is just a few minutes' walk to the ocean beach, as well as to the ice cream shop, kites and souvenir store, pizza restaurant, etc. The grocery store is just a quick drive away. This property had all the basics (and then some) for a couple nights' stay, including kitchen implements, washer and dryer, toaster and coffee maker, a few family games, and a couple fans. There were a few minor fixes and updates needed -- e.g., broken window blinds in western bedroom; we were unable to open the window in that room; toilet paper holder thingy was detaching from the bathroom wall; old couch in main room was lumpy in spots. The western sun heated the place up in the afternoons, but we opened the patio door a crack, and placed a fan to draw in the ocean air for a couple hours before bed. This cooled everything down nicely for a good night's sleep. The on-site dryer was a HUGE benefit, and we used it multiple times to dry out mist-wet clothes after a round at the beach. Overall, communication with the property owner/rental company was positive. There was some confusion at initial booking, although this was resolved quickly (I booked through VRBO, which provides the 60-day/30-day cancellation policy, but apparently this isn't in place if you book directly, and the paperwork from the rental company didn't reflect the policy). Our overall impression: although a few updates/fixes are in order, we had a great little vacation, and we would stay here again.

Centrally located to everything

This is a cute little place that has what you need for a few days at the beach. The kitchen is SMALL but good enough for vacay. The main bed is very comfortable but the smaller on and couch....not so much. I'd stay again if I was in the Ocean Shores area.

Very clean and conveniently located. It was a short walk to the beach and bike rentals. Lots of places to eat all within walking distance.

Great location!

Perfect location, well accommodated for a weekend getaway. Our only complaint was that there was hair left stuck to the shower wall. Everything else looked clean though.

Enjoyed our stay!

Loved the location of this beach themed condo. Was very close to drive to the beach but would be a longer than 5 min walk just because of how big the beach is. Kitchen is small but we didn’t do any cooking just made coffee. Beds were pretty comfortable. Only problem we had is the WiFi information they sent us did not work, however we really didn’t need it anyways since we spent most of our time at the beach. Overall is a great little place in a great location!

Ocean Shores Getaway

The unit is convenient as advertised, cozy and well equipped. There was no wifi and the bathroom sink didn't drain well. Other than that, it's a great unit for a beach getaway.

It was cute

Well long story short, the place was very cute. Good location. As soon as we opened the swinging door (before we even entered the main door), the swinging door fell off its hinges. The bathroom door did not lock. I have a wife and 2 daughters, bathroom privacy is important. I called the property management number provided to let you all know about the issues with both doors in our first 30 minutes there to report the issues so we wouldn't be held responsible for them, and never heard anything back from you. That is one of several things that were just flat out unacceptable for the ammount of money I paid. There was a sign by the back door saying "Watch our for spine seeds" or something of that nature. What that sign should have said was "You will track these things into the house and the hurt worse than legos to step on". My wife and two daughters both had hurt their feet within the first hour, leading me to one by one pick those things up by hand to prevent further preventable injuries. At the beach we leave our shoes at the door to respect the property, we had to wear shoes at all times during our stay there. The place was mostly clean, but there were multiple areas of gunk/sticky stuff/messes left over from the last people who stayed. The couch... Was UNBEARABLE. Zero comfort. Terrible. "Due to COVID-19" you all wouldn't even stock us with basic toiletries (You gave a family of 4 one toilet paper roll for a 4 day stay) so we had to pay for that out of pocket. As I said in the title, the place was cute, but the overall impression was that the rental company couldn't have been cheaper, which again for the price I paid was unacceptable. Cute decor cottage feel

Loved the cozy atmosphere. They really did a great job at decorating to make it a fun beach theme throughout the place. Felt mostly clean except for the carpets and couch felt a bit dirty. The carpets left my white socks black after a day of walking around. They really need a deep shampoo. Yes, the kitchen is small, but we ate out a lot so it wasn’t a big deal for a two night stay. We loved the beer tap business right next door. Was nice to walk over to for some good beer. Overall we enjoyed our stay and how close the cottage was to the main strip in town. Would visit again, hopefully the carpets will be shampooed next time.

Late summer stay

I'd like to start with the positive- easy to find and access; adorably decorated, super clean, had pretty much everything we needed, beds were very comfy. There is a gas grill out by the parking lot we weren't aware of. Now the negative- the sliding glass door in the master bedroom didn't lock. There was a wooden pole in the track but it would still open about 7-8 inches. That's not ok. The place smelled a little damp/musty. No beach towels. The kitchen is tiny...we didn't cook elaborate meals but there is zero counter space for any food prep or even doing dishes. Although there is only a "row of towering pines" between the property and the ocean...you can't access the beach from the property. The walk to the beach entrance is pretty far if you're carrying gear. The back deck is nice but keep your kids and pets off of the "grass". The whole back yard is covered in sharp sticker burrs. We had to carry our dog in and pull them out of his paws. I heard another guest's child fall and get up screaming- they had burrs stuck in their hands and legs.

Cleanliness

Condo retain smell of bacon the entire weekend even with doors open during the day, upon coming back when condo had been locked up, we were greeted with a terrible smell, which later found was dog pee (we didnt have the pet) soaked and dried in the curtains and had been baking in the sun. When attempting to clean up after ourselves, the vacuum spewed out large amount of dust causing us to go outside. We were just a little disappointed, especially with the extra cautions due to COVID.

looks just like the photos. great location, one block from main beach entrance. kitchen is small but i was surprised to see how many kitchen supplies were provided. loved having the second bedroom, and backyard space.

Simple, comfortable and well decorated

We love the coastal vibe and the updated amenities and clean bathroom. The wash machine and dryer was a plus! We had just enough space to make small meals in the kitchen and it was well stocked with the basics. Entry to the unit was a breeze, curbside so packing in and out all our things made it easy. There were fans in each room to help keep the breeze blowing. I would recommend a screen door on the back to prevent unwanted guests ;) The bedding was clean and towels were well stocked.
