I put off writing this review because I honestly just didn’t want to think about that weekend. I made the mistake of not reading reviews before we booked because we were set on going to the beach and this was literally the only listing that was available for our family size. I’ll start with the good:Clean bed sheets and towels, electricity, running water The bad:-Ants in the kitchen, including on the coffee maker so coffee was out of the question (I did see a few in the bathroom and master bedroom as well)-loud neighbors- like music blasting downstairs well past 12:30 am-no washing machine- I didn’t know this unit didn’t have laundry available so maybe that’s on me but I don’t remember if the listing stated it either way-there’s a general ickiness when in the apartment, like I don’t really want to be here without shoes and I don’t want to sit on the sofa but I need my kids to not be afraid of germs so I’ll just suck it up and pretend this is an adventure. Maybe the ants gave me the ick after a saw a few in the bedroom. Fine, be there, but don’t crawl on me at night I just can’t believe we paid so much money for that. It was like a motel 6 but priced as a Westin lol. The reason I gave 2 stars and not one is because I really appreciated the hot shower after being at the beach all day. Staying at such a run down place really makes you appreciate basics like hot water.
