We really enjoyed working with the lady. She was quick to answer, and easy to talk with. My rating is only because of the the unit. It was as advertised, except: it was very hotel like, the only stuff provided was the bear minimum. Which makes it difficult for people who travel long distance, and have to figure out what to do with the extras. Like the trash bags, dishwasher tablets, even trying to find laundry detergent, and hauling it all back does make it very inconvenient. Even not having basic pantry staples, no salt or pepper. The furniture was very hard and small, it was hard to get settled on them. They did fold down into beds, unfortunately though, the bars all hit the wrong places. Another thing I'll warn too. There is no AC in this unit, which means the windows stay open to stay cool. Unfortunately, since it's on the corner near the benches, the parking, the trash cans, the people walking from the shops, it's very noisy, we stayed during August and even in oceanside it was still warm, we weren't as relaxed or rested as I would have liked to have been. The bedroom had thin curtains and the condo keeps its coridor lit all night, the room doesn't get dark at all, so I recommend eye covers. Otherwise, it was a nice view, watching the people surfing, and the nightly sunsets.

Housekeeping needs attention.

Dirty floors, un-mopped kitchen and bath. Bathtub was clogged and had hair from previous tenant. Time for a new mattress.

Enjoying the beach

We spent a month at Marina del Mar, Oceanside, right across the street from a beautiful beach perfect for a sunset stroll or jog. The unit was going to be remodeled after we left so we can't speak of it specifically, but it's a corner top-floor unit with lots of light. We'll be staying there again and are looking foward to it!
