We were sooo happy with our stay at Blackbeard. The best cleaning I have seen in a long time and very friendly and helpful staff. Shout out to Cynthia ! It’s in a great area on the island. The shower was hot and good pressure. Beds weren't bad at all. I will choose there again next time 100%%%. We didn’t utilize the pool Because it was freezing cold Water but it was nice and clean area.

Tons of character at this historic lodge. Our room on the third floor was small, but the location could not be beat,and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Renting bikes right on property for $25 a day was also great.

Blackbeard’s Lodge is full of charm. The bed was comfortable. The room was small and cozy. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. There was fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. The host Cynthia was very nice and helpful. The location is convenient to restaurants, the beach and shopping. Definitely would stay again.

It is older hotel with lots of character! We only stayed one night but bed was comfy. It was clean and quiet. Coffee close by. We had a coffee maker but no coffee or cups. Bathtub had great water pressure but only half when you turned it up to shower. There was a nice gameroom, porch, pool. A cool Blackbeard statue! Room was big but no elevator for those that require one.

The hotel is family-friendly, has a super friendly and attentive staff. It's the oldest property on site, so it could use some renovations, but it has a really cool history. I'd recommend booking the East, West, and Manager's apartments – they offer the most comfort for the price.

The room was very small, but cute and clean. The staff were very friendly. The property had two friendly cats that we thought were adorable and enjoyed seeing while sitting on the porch. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were some of the best people I’ve met . We came in late the lights were on and they knew my name. Awesome place to visit.It’s Okracoke, so if you’re looking for the Ritz go to Corolla or Duck.
