"The room was clean and onsite parking was available. The elevator was very helpful ... and the view of the lake from the elevator as it goes up/down was delightful! The views from the rooms are excellent (though rooms with 01 in the number have limited views) and the location of the inn is very convenient. However, the property is undergoing renovations right now and the noise from this did negatively impact our stay, as did the loud sound of wind coming through the door (apparently that is just part of being at this location). We would definitely stay there again, but just know that right now significant renovations are going on. I imagine they hope to have the renovations done before the true season starts (we were there in early March)."

"The staff were some of the best people I’ve met . We came in late the lights were on and they knew my name. Awesome place to visit.It’s Okracoke, so if you’re looking for the Ritz go to Corolla or Duck."

"We LOVED The Studio! Debbie was a fantastic host and responded quickly to our questions. The studio was beautiful and very well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. We really loved the location as we were able to easily walk to the harbor and nearby shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!"

"Derek was very communicative giving great detail up front to ensure we came in prepared properly (for the ferry situation, coffee, etc…). He was incredibly responsive to questions and gave us some great recommendations. Everything was walkable and the golf cart was a HUGE plus! I would highly recommend Marshmellow to anyone looking for some time on Ocracoke Island!!"
