“Hilary and Mark, mother and son were both very pleasant and helpful. Some good suggestions about different places to visit in the area.”

“Lovely place. Room, food and staff all first class. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back.”

“Lovely little cottage. We did find going up and down stairs tricky. Would have Been nice if their was instructions on how to use tv and hot tub. Woke a few times in the night of something running up and down in the ceiling . Sofa in the lounge very uncomfortable to sit on .”

“Very clean. Host was excellent.”

“Had a lovely, spacious room with a king size bed and lifesaving portable air con Very nice bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities excellent. The property is only a 2 minute walk from 3 pubs, 2 restaurants, a convenience store, tea room and the train station. But you hear no noise. There is parking outside the property.”

We tried to reach property owner with no avail. They never responded to any of our inquiries. Within 15 mins, we booked a room at local hotel and left……

“Really nice house, table football etc for the kids, nice back garden and well-equipped kitchen. Really happy”

The phone number provided for help wasn't even in service at the time. The property itself is filthy - the room was just about liveable for one night, but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets. It feels more like a bedsit or HMO than proper guest accommodation. The rooms smell strongly of mould and……

“Great place to stay and honest trustworthy staff 5 stars. I left my wallet and keys in the room and the staff kept everything safe for me. Many thanks”
