We were in the back unit among four on the second floor of a building right downtown. The location couldn't be better to walk to most things in town. Restaurants on the way to Wells required us to drive, but otherwise we simply walked everywhere.
If you have read other reviews, you've likely noted that many mention the situation with parking. Take it seriously. There are four spaces in a small lot directly behind the units. If all four renters drive Mini Coopers and park within the lines of their space, it will go well. If anyone drives today's normal SUVs, it could be a recipe for disaster. It is tight, tight, tight. We were the only renters during the week, so it was fine. On our last evening, all four spaces were filled. We chose not to drive to the restaurant we'd intended to visit simply because we didn't want to park a car in the lot late at night upon our return. Honestly, it is the parking that would give us pause about choosing this property again.
Sunday through Thursday, the neighborhood was quiet at night. On Friday night, there was a club nearby and the music, shouting, and laughter was loud until 1 AM. The unit came with a small white noise machine, but I'm glad that we also travel with one as well.
Two things we'd change and that would be easy fixes for the unit owners are as follows. First, we needed more eating utensils. There was one teaspoon & two larger soups spoons. Second, please stock decaf pods for the Keurig.
Ogunquit is lovely & the unit is nice.
