Welcome to the Ohope Sunshine Escape!

This beautiful 4-bedroom Whakatane accommodation sleeps up to 8 people and is perfect for a family or group of friends to chill out and enjoy the summer months.

Situated just a few minutes walk from the beach, this has all the necessities for the perfect beach pad. Casual and comfortable, this open-plan home comes with a sun-drenched balcony, BBQ and outdoor dining area.

The easy-going indoor/outdoor flow ensures a chill spot to sit down and relax, with some music playing and spending some time with family or friends.

If you're keen to venture out and explore the local area, Ohope International Links Golf Course, Ohope Scenic Reserve and the Wairere Falls are all just a short drive away.

And of course, you're just minutes from Ohope beach (Voted NZ's most loved beach) you can take the boogie boards out at any time and enjoy the sunshine by the water.

So if you're looking for your next summertime adventure, set up base at the Ohope Sunshine Escape!
Please note due to the narrow driveway and potentially blocking the neighbours in at Ohope Sunshine Escape, boats are not permitted to be brought onto the property.Please note there is construction work being carried out from June to September 2021 on the neighbouring property from Ohope Sunshine Escape. This could mean some construction noise during working hours. Please be advised this is a working site and guests should not enter the neighbouring property during their stay.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. Nice and private a few hygiene issues but otherwise great
Suited our needs after doing a general clean although left the freezer down stairs as was to yuk. Beds where wonderful and clean even if one mattress protector was a bit gross. Generally great though very well stocked for all needs.

We are not impressed to be sent out a "rate the property" survey as we had cancelled this accommodation due to the event we were attending had been cancelled due to Covid 19. We were told that we were not to receive a refund of any form via very poor communication and basically non negotiable. To receive this email, this feels like another kick in the teeth. Again another poor form of communication. No one has bothered to phone us and have a conversation, offer alternative options. We feel very let down from Bookabach.
