"This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! We were able to leave our bags on the day of checkout and explore the area before heading onto our next destination."

Fuji is about 50 kilometers away and you can see it from a couple of train ride stops away whether permitting. "I liked the location and the public spaces. The half board was disappointing- basically a buffet with a small add on. The mountain view described for my room was a courtyard and the pictures of the private onsen did not match the reality. My stay was just fine but it did not meet the expectations set by the descriptions online."
