This charming log cabin offers a boat dock and is perfectly situated on the canal with access to Lake Okeechobee! Cozy and quiet, this beautiful home features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with plenty of space to relax with an outdoor patio overlooking the water. A bonus feature is the swing for two located on the dock and perfect for viewing Florida's breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Pet friendly; no dog fencing, be careful with pets. The garage is not included. Fishermen, your fishing paradise awaits you! Swimming is not permitted, however, the white sandy beaches are less than hour away. Nice sunrise and sunset views. Town has great shopping and restaurants 5 minutes away. We had agreat time!

House was exactly as described, very cute. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and to cook. Nice sized porch in the back and a dock to enjoy the outdoors, added bonus was big traeger pellet grill to use.

What a cool place!

My buddy and I stayed down here for a long weekend of fishing. This is our second year staying here and we love this property. The decor is awesome, in a convenient location, and the host is very easy going.

Super cute!

Easy check in, nice place, the upstairs loft has a “twin” bed but it seemed a bit shorter than a twin. The back yard and dock was nice to sit on overlooking the water. Place was clean and everyone was comfortable! Felt like a cabin in Colorado! Would stay again!

Lake Okeechobee Fishing

Very nice location close to ramps on the north end of the lake. Convenient to Dining and shopping. Check out Lake Okeechobee Fishing Headquarters, nice shop, good people.

Excellent Thanksgiving Getaway!

Rented this cabin for Thanksgiving weekend with my family and dog. Took our boat by water from Fort Myers to the cabin. We had such a good time and the house was perfect. Everything was clean, organized, and the owner was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again! Close to restaurants and stores too which was nice for running to get supplies or whatever we needed. Had a great time.

Amazing

Place was perfect! Appliances were clean, very homey feeling. The drive was big enough for to trucks and boats hooked up. Backing in wasn’t all that tricking people in the town are very nice.

This beautiful cabin was incredibly clean, well furnished, as well as seasonings and condiments, available in the fridge. It was easy to see that the owners took a great deal of pride in their property, and wanted to make sure that whoever stay there would enjoy it as well. I will definitely contact this property in the future when I’m ready to stay there again. Thank you for making our visits so wonderful.

The perfect R&R

As a busy business woman self employed entrepreneur whose having her child in just 5 days this was the perfect spot for my significant other and I to spend 2 nights together! He caught so many fish we even made dinner with one tilapia he caught. I love rising with the sun, this was the perfect rise to our day. I tend to like to stay in the same spots so will definitely pull another vacay with our new addition next year

Hospitality above and beyond

I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to the owner, thank you Mike for letting us seek refuge in this beautiful place, it was a wild and windy night but we did our best to secure everything around the property before the storm arrived and all was well in the morning. Looks like the neighbor across the canal sustained some boat dock damage but other than that everything looks good.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This place was ADORABLE! Super clean and accommodating. We had 7 adults and 2 children and we all sleep very comfortably. One bedroom is in the first floor (I was worried about my mom getting up the steps). The porch was awesome. I wish it was completely enclosed to keep the children from running off but it wasn’t a huge problem. E will definitely be back!

Very clean property as advertised. Could use some maintenance TLC. Bathroom door upstairs not installed. Shower drain upstairs leaking through to the main floor - could not use it. Timer on dock lights not working. No operable grill. Overall nice property close to everything.

Short Stop

Had a few days between Baseball tournaments, so we booked this cabin on a whim. Wow…what a great booking. The cabin is awesome and I really felt like I was at home cooking on my own Traeger. My wife and daughter appreciated the space, my son and I fished the canal hard!! My only concern was that it wasn’t a secluded cabin. But, might as well been on an island. We didn’t see any neighbors in the 3 days we were there. If we ever find ourselves nearby, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Cabin in a great location

My husband and I planned this fishing trip with my sister and her husband. We ended up with their two older sons coming along and the cabin had plenty of room for us all. There was plenty of room for parking for our two trucks and two boats. It is on a busier road so backing in is recommended for easier pulling out with the boats. The dock and back porch were great for evening fishing and cooking our catches of the day. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom accommodations were more than sufficient. The cabin is close to grocery stores, restaurants, and several boat ramps and accesses to the lake. The owner was easy to communicate with and he offered tips and suggestions on fishing and ramp locations. Check in and check out instructions were clear. We will book again for our next fishing trip to Okeechobee.

Great Cabin style home with a nice layout

We have fun wherever we go. This house was nice because if was on a canal and we could fish. The host was a little callous when commutating. I had requested a late check out the host said yes and then at 10;27am, he messaged me saying "We would like to know when you plan on checking out. We have things to do". Ended up rushing through breakfast with an uncomfortable feeling.

Fishing paradise

Came down to Okeechobee to do some crappie fishing for the first time. The home was perfectly located with close easy access to several ramps or we could dock the boat at the house and use the lock to get into Okeechobee. The house had everything you could need to have a great time whether you are fishing or just visiting the area. It easily accommodated our three but could easily accommodate several more. I was initially a bit skeptical as to whether the driveway would accommodate my F250 and the 23 foot fishing boat depth wise to remain hooked up but did with a few feet to spare! If anyone is looking for a great place to stay that is in the middle of everything that is Okeechobee this is your place!
