It was quiet, unique and cozy.Location was perfect; close to whatever you would need within 6 minute drive. The cabin was lovely and the host Brandy was most helpful as need be. Great little trip to connect with my son while he attends UCO.

Girls Trip at the Gate House

My sister, mom and I all really enjoyed our stay at the Gate House! Brandy was so welcoming and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The house was gorgeously decorated with the most comfortable beds and pillows. We loved having a cocktail on the back patio in the evenings and listening to the turkeys gobble. We will definitely be back!

We loved this little find just outside of Edmond! The property is secluded with beautiful grounds that it doesn’t feel like you’re in the city. The cottage/cabin is so cute and furnished with everything you might need. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Quiet Unique and Close to everything

We absolutely loved this cottage and all the amenities. The home and the kitchen are so well appointed with all the supplies you need. The spiral staircase is so beautiful and is also the only way to access the two bedrooms.Although the location is tucked away and surrounded by trees, you are also close to restaurants, stores, and a beautiful lake. We would highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway and we plan to do just that again.

OSU Bound!

We stayed for a few days prior to taking our son to OSU! It was great place to unplug, play games and prepare for the big transition! It was great to have a locked gate keeping all of his belongings safe! This was our favorite place to stay!

The cabin was close to a town with grocery and restaurants, as well as the interstate. I didn’t hear any interstate noise, and the cabin was in a safe property area behind a gate and surrounded by trees. All the basic things for cooking, coffee, internet, and comfortable beds were there. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Check in and out was simple. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic! Charming with a rustic appeal nestled within the trees giving you a cozy comfort feel; But within minutes of all modern convinces. Mesmerizing

Driving into a breathtaking view of property and house. The homes decor matched its surroundings and made you feel cozy and welcomed. We spent a long weekend visiting family and going to the OSU/ASU game. DEVILS WIN! The weather was even more exciting having it rain all day with thunder, lightning and tornado warnings 2 nights in a row. (Yes, Host sent us warning.) You can walk the property and see the pond and wildlife all over. Pretty impressive view. It’s a home you can stay and use the amenities year round. Beautiful.

Cute rustic country stay

I loved the rock home and staircase. I do wish the dishes had been cleaner upon my arrival since I had to wash all dishes I needed. The games are not all there and I heard, "I'm bored of Guess Who!" Be wary of bugs like all county locations, wasps hung out in kids playhouse. The twenty degree difference in upstairs and down is a real thing and keep your temp upstairs in mind when adjusting. Over all that it is a beautiful home, perfect location in the country but close enough to everything city and entertainment. I would stay again and even have to give thanks to Brandy helping find a wood source for the fire place!

Hidden Gem in Edmund!

If you're looking for a charming and relaxing getaway, look no further than The Gate House in Edmond, Oklahoma! This cozy cottage exceeded all our expectations. A Home Away from Home The Gate House is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, from plush towels and comfy bedding to a fully equipped kitchen. We loved curling up with coffee on the patio enjoying nature, especially the visits from the wild turkeys and deer. The Perfect Hosts The hosts were amazing! They were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They even left us a personalized welcome package upon our arrival. Highly Recommend! We highly recommend The Gate House for your stay in Edmund! It's the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway, a fun family vacation, or a solo staycation. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, Unique, and Peaceful Getaway

**Beautiful, Unique, and Peaceful Getaway** I really enjoyed my stay at Gate House! The furniture is stunning—the owner has great taste, and the decor is both beautiful and unique. I left feeling inspired to bring a similar style into my own home. The peaceful pond and waterfall added to the relaxing atmosphere, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable to hang out in. The bedding was also fantastic—very cozy and inviting. Despite being conveniently close to the highway, the property feels wonderfully removed from the city. While I did hear a car or motorcycle rev a couple of times when outside, there was no road noise inside. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes (even festive Christmas ones for December stays!), but be sure to bring your own spices and oils. The handcrafted stairs are gorgeous, though they may be a challenge for those unsure on their feet, as there is also a large step in the bathroom. It wasn’t an issue for me, but something to note. The TV has Netflix access, which was a nice touch for relaxing in the evenings. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and I would love to return!

Best home away from home ever!

We were very happy with the property. Right away you could tell that they take great pride in it! Everything was spotless and I am very picky about cleanliness. I even felt comfortable enough to sleep in the bed without my own pillowcase and blanket that I always bring! It was always so quiet and peaceful, we slept wonderfully! The property is beautiful and well kept. We saw fireflies at night and several deer in the mornings and they would stay awhile because it was so quiet! We stayed for 2 weeks and there was never a problem. Every nook and cranny was clean! We found nothing our entire stay to complain about. It was decorated so cute, it felt just like home. The kitchen supplies were perfect. We had all the basics and real dishes and silverware! We were even able to host a few family members for brunch and did not need anything but food. There were several little things that made our stay so nice. There was a bag of coffee from a local roaster we absolutely enjoyed! There was a very nice selection of tea bags to enjoy as well. There were fans in most rooms for comfort, there were ice packs available to use in the freezer, foil and ziploc bags, cute little eye masks for a restful sleep, and much more. The host was very easy to communicate with. We have stayed many places in our travels and this property, by far, was above and beyond! We will definitely stay here again when we return!
