「This property seemed to have quite good reviews. I was disappointed overall.
Pros:
-Rooms were clean and comfortable
-Location was convenient
-Staff was friendly
Cons:
-the hotel seemed pretty run down
-the restaurant was substandard
-you could hear everything through the walls
-there was no hot water, even after 3 complaints
-the staff moved all my stuff to another room without my prior knowledge or permission because they wanted to give my room to someone else」
「Le Rustique is a charming haven just far enough from the bustling town of Nanyuki, while still very close. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the cottages are roomy, comfortable and quaint. Would definitely recommend!!」

「This one is a scam. We paid for it but when we arrived, nobody was there and the phone number wasn’t picked up. Photos are most likely taken from internet. Have called hotels.com who promised to investigate 」
「WiFi didn’t exist, multiple infestations of different insects, the food was only 3 different choices, it exists 10 km away from everything on a dirt road in the middle of no where.
Hotels didn’t help out and we asked for a refund on day one. 」
「It was simply amazing - a beautiful place and the attention to detail in the accommodation is excellent - we just had a wonderful time and Raymond and the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.
We spent three nights there and would certainly go again.
