Surrounded by lush greenery, Marco’s House is a tranquil retreat in nature, but close to the glamour of Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda. This first-floor apartment, for 4 people, is in a traditional style villa, with a wide shaded balcony. Less than 10 minutes from beautiful beaches and 10 minutes from stylish Porto Rotondo, the apartment is the ideal base for friends or family who want an exciting and relaxing holiday.

The open-plan living area includes a stylish contemporary L-shaped sofa, a flat-screen TV, a dining table for 4 and a fitted kitchen. This is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Large sliding glass doors open onto the furnished balcony where guests can relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee.

Bedroom: The master bedroom has a double bed, flat-screen TV and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts to a double bed.

Bathroom
The modern tiled bathroom has a glass shower, bidet, basin and WC.

Location
In the hills on the edge of the village of Cugnana, the apartment is close to some of Sardinia’s finest beaches, including Spiaggia di Portisco (6 minutes) and Spiaggia di Rena Bianca (8 minutes). Both are known for their pristine water and white sands. For water sports, kayaking, paddle boarding, Marinella Bay (12 minutes) has many options.

After a day by the sea head into Porto Rotondo (10 minutes) with its excellent restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Or head up the Costa Smeralda to Porto Cervo (20 minutes), the home of the original jet set and a fascinating place to people watch.

For self-catering there are supermarkets and smaller shops within a 10-minute drive. Or spend the day in Arzachena (20 minutes). The town has a lively culinary scene and celebrates the best local ingredients. Wednesday is market day (from 8am) and it does not disappoint. You will find the finest regional produce including cheese, olive oil, breads and vegetables.

Alternatively, in Olbia (15 minutes), you can explore the farmers\' markets held three times a week. The Saturday market in Via Sangallo is particularly recommended.

Olbia airport is just a 20-minute drive.
