We came in for a family wedding in the area and this hotel was a great location. The mexican restaurant that was down the street is fantastic, great margaritas ! Would definitely use this location again if we were out this way. Thank you for a wonderful stay !

Excellent Staff and Very Clean

The staff was friendly and helpful and willing to work with us for the groom's party to get ready. The staff was polite and let me check everyone in and have everything available for the others to check in.

Nice little hotel that was clean and comfortable. The outside was pretty, with flowers and a lake. The inside seemed updated and well kept. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area again.

We requested a room on the first floor. They provided us with a handicapped accessible room. The ramp from our room went right to the handicapped parking area. It was so nice to be able to unload everything from our vehicle into our room. We were within walking distance of a Big Y grocery store, a Kohls department store and a Five Guys restaurant.

Immaculate

Stayed one night and our suite for 5 was large and immaculate. Easy check-in with gracious front desk staff, beautiful grounds, loads of parking. The only negative is the mattresses were not very comfortable and they definitely need pillows and bedding upgrades. I would definitely stay here again!

The property is no Ritz, but it's a very good value for the money ($134/nt). The room was clean & comfortable with a big picture window looking out on a little pond and trees sporting colorful fall foliage. There was a load of parking and there's a fun restaurant Cuckoo's Nest Mexican a short walk from the lot. Shopping areas are just five minutes away in either direction. The ocean is a quick five minute drive away as well.

Excellent value. The room was very clean except for a bit of mildew on the shower curtain edge. The beds were very comfortable and the room was good sized. Very convenient location near a supermarket, fast food (including Dunkin Donuts) and Kohls. Very easy on-off to I-95.

I enjoyed my stay except they already had the pool closed Labor Day week with temperatures in the mid eighty's. The site does list pool as seasonal; they should note what they consider their season.

good hotel for the price.

I went to a wedding and travelled from FL to Old Saybrook, CT. I wanted a fairly inexpensive hotel in a safe area, close to the Marina. The room was clean, the shower was hot, the TV worked and the bed was sufficiently comfortable. I had a problem with my jewelry, with a small tag stuck on the post. The man at the service desk helped me. The landscaping outside was quite beautiful. i wish there were one or two more outlets.

A little disappointed

We reserved 2 rooms for a family trip. The rooms were fairly clean, but the shower curtains had mold on it (both rooms). Each room only had 2 sets of towels (we had 3 people in our room and the other room had 4 people). We had to ask for more and, although they gave them to us, we felt like they really didn't want to. Both AC units shut off in the middle of the night (almost like they had them on a timer of some sort). It advertised a pool which was disappointedly not open (still covered from the winter). The breakfast consisted of a waffle maker and a coffee machine (no fruit, muffins, danish, etc). The front desk staff was courteous though. It was a quiet place to stay. Old Saybrook is a quaint little town.

Clean but redo the A.I. to match offers

Everything was good but it said breakfast 7 to 10 I think. When I went down for my walk the sign was covered but was given a to go bag.
