“The Howland House was situated in the most perfect spot in the Catskill Mountains! Very clean property, outstanding staff who never say no and go out of their way to help you.... The only thing I didn't care for, but not really a big deal, was that we had to share the 2 bathrooms down the hall with two other rooms. While the bathrooms were nice, they just weren't in the room we were staying in due to being sold out of the rooms with. The restaurant, Oliver's, was quite lovely and attached to the……

“Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly.”

“For the price point and ridiculous surcharges present, it doesn’t deliver. Aside from the young men doing transport the staff was rude and not helpful.
Steamroom was out of order, the sculpt class I took was mediocre to say the least - our room was dusty and had cobwebs in the corners of the room as well as above the shower - unacceptable.
An additional arbitrary $45/day stay-fee on top of everything upon checkout was charged which is “just normal” according to the front desk. Bizarre.
