The unit was clean, in good condition, and the bed was comfortable. Instant coffee, teabags, sweeteners, and milk were available in the room along with an electric kettle. Check in and out was simple and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

This motel is a good example of solid New Zealand accommodation - a classic lodge with good kitchen amenities, a comfortable room, and plenty of parking. The motel is set back from town, and while the car park is modest there are plenty of e-bikes to rent.

The room was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was surprised that when we returned to the room for our second night that there had been no housekeeping. The rubbish and recycling bins were quite small and should have been emptied at the least.

This was a last minute booking but from the minute we drove into the motel we knew it was a winner. Beautiful tended gardens and pots, very quiet and so comfortable and obviously little personal touches like coloured matching bedding, quirky tiling in kitchen. Well thought out bathroom and kitchen.
