Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Furnishings are a little dated but that didn’t bother us. It was a stop off to Queenstown and met all our needs. Iron, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities in room. Would stay again if in area.

Das Personal am Empfang war freundlich Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich sauber, die Handtücher wurden getauscht, die Betten waren ordentlich gemacht und das Bad wurde nach der ersten Nacht auch gesäubert. Der Zustand des Zimmer war wirklich desolat, alles war auf dem Stand von 1970, also gut 50 Jahre alt. Dafür umgerechnet 125 Euro zu verlangen, ist eine Frechheit. Die Fotos stimmen auch überhaupt nicht mit dem überein, was man vorfindet. Der „Ort“ Omarama bietet absolut nichts, außer die Clay Cliffs, wobei die Straße dorthin in einem sehr schlechten Zustand ist und uns ein Steinschlag eine neue Windschutzscheibe gekostet hat ($ 1.500 !!!) @ Expedia - nehmt bitte dieses Hotel aus Eurer

The whole place have an air of 'down at heel'. The decor and rooms need lots pf TLC. I suspect that the general air of dilapidation spread over into the downcast attitude of the staff.

Stayed overnight to break up the drive back to Christchurch from Queenstown. Room was big and clean. Just off main road but quiet. Definitely recommend to others.

What we got was not what we booked - a superior balcony room , described on the website as 30sqm with an extra bed. Definitely not 30sqm and only one bed. Was told this was a superior room! We were not the only ones to find out what we had paid for was not as described on the website. Not good enough really, we will avoid this hotel chain in the future

Too pricey for the condition of the property. The reception lady was not friendly. We asked if there was an upstairs option and all she just said “no already full” - it could have been a language barrier or just lack of customer service training as she also wasn’t smiling at all. We also found a cleaning spray bottle on the dining chair - looks like who ever was cleaning forgot to remove it.

Safe and good location for where we wanted to explore the area around Cook mountain. A very small town. Room are large with usable balcony. Overall, a very good place to stay.
