Lovely, well located accommodation, for a relaxing family holiday
The 2 bedroomed ground floor apartment, located in the Allee des Dunes complex, is ideal for a relaxing holiday. It is clean and well equipped and the owner’s representative that met us was very friendly and welcoming. (NB remember to contact her the day before with your estimated time of arrival, and an hour before on the day. English is limited so a text /SMS may help.)
The complex has good facilities including a communal pool, table tennis tables and a laundrette. A mobile caterer offered food most evenings (eg pizza, paella, burgers). There is a free shuttle bus to the beach every 20 mins (high season) which leaves from near the complex entrance. The lovely beach is sandy and has toilets and restaurants. There is crazy golf at the complex entrance. There is also a good bicycle hire company at the end of the road. We hired bicycles and cycled to Capbreton on the marked cycle route.
(Just note: If you plan to cook, the small combi microwave is the oven/grill so any cooking for a family needs to be on the hob. There was only one relaxing chair for the patio.)
We spent a great week there, and have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation for a family of 4.
