Lovely, Cozy Cottage

Family Time in Onekama

This house was perfect for our needs. very quick walk to beach. House was very clean, beds very comfortable. Response time from owner very quick and was so helpful. we will go back to this. highly recommend.

Wonderful

This is a GREAT rental,reasonably priced. We have stayed here the last two years and are planning our third next summer. The owner is quick to respond to any questions. The location is perfect for us as we have extended family at Little Eden Camp just down the road.

Our Ideal Family Cottage Experience

This roomy authentic cottage satisfied perfectly the needs of the 6 members (4 adults and 2 small children ) 3 generational family. We were able to comfortably park 2 vehicles in the driveway , plenty of written instructions guided us thru the do's and don't ( hardly any don'ts ) plus excellent suggestions as to things to do and places close by to go to. Definately a destination for us on a future family holiday.

Wonderful Cottage

Our 2 week stay at the cottage was fantastic! Jud was so great to work with and kept me informed on the details. The cottage was very comfortable and clean. We especially loved the screened in porch. While we were there, it got a bit hot, so the air conditioning throughout the house was great. I would highly recommend the cottage! Thank you!

Excellent Family Vacation in Onekama

My family and I enjoyed our trip to Onekama during the second week of July 2021. We had three adults and three kids stay at the cottage. The cottage is truly a short walk to the beach, which is sandy and not rocky. It is absolutely beautiful! There are four bedrooms, three upstairs and one downstairs. Each room has a double/queen size bed. The house fit our family well and we had such a great time visiting the sights of Onekama. We visited the lighthouse piers, went on long walks, swam at the beautiful beach, and visited the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your cottage!

Ultimate Beach Vacation

We chose this property due to it’s proximity to Frankfort for the IronMan race. We are so happy to have discovered this place! Our favorites about the property were the amazing screened in porch and the gorgeous, unpopulated beach at the end of the road. We so enjoyed our time in “1,”!

Great Place to stay in Onekama Michigan

Clean, comfortable and convenient to both Lake Michigan and Portage Lake Owner is very responsive with questions and information. The kitchen has everything you need to cook dinner, large dining room for family meals, family room has TV with Netflix, large screened in porch for relaxing. Walking distance to a very nice beach. Overall excellent!!

Our daughters wedding

Our daughter got married on the beach in Onekama, everything was beautiful and the Lake isle cottage was perfect for our stay. Wonderful Memories.

Onekama Beach vacation

We have vacationed in Onekama since 2004 and this cottage and location of the cottage has been one of the best by far! Beds were comfortable, water pressure great, had laundry facilities and everything that you could want! The porch was my favorite part! The addition of AC on the off chance you would need it was a nice option and even though we were on vacation having the WiFi was a real plus! I know we will be back! You just can’t beat the weather and beaches in this area, I guess that is why we have continued to come back year after year!

Outstanding place in Onekama

The house has an excellent location - just a short walk to the beach - and had everything we needed for a great stay - comfortable beds, a/c, screened in porch, kitchen with plenty of pots and pans. The owner Jud was very responsive to the questions we had before we arrived. Highly recommended!!

Cozy home, Beautiful beach and sunsets right down the road

The beach is right up the road and so gorgeous, the home is cozy and comfortable, the screened in porch was so nice for reading on a rainy day. Lots of beautiful day trips. Owner is extremely kind and contacted us right away when we had a minor problem. Lovely vacation!

Nice fall escape

We enjoyed a nice long weekend with my parents and brother. This property is nicely situated between Lake MI and Portage Lake which are both a short walk. Jud was responsive to our inquiries and everything was as expected. We had a really nice quiet time here end of October.

Hidden Gem

We booked this trip with the intention of enjoying the beautiful nature this part of Michigan offers. The location was very peaceful and delivered on just that. The property is part of a quaint neighborhood and the public access beach to Lake Michigan is right down the street. To say the view is beautiful is a complete understatement. The house is well kept and comfortable, offering plenty of space. It is driving distance from Sleeping Bear dunes and an amazing area to be in the fall when the leaves are changing colors.

Amazing Family Trip
