“The house has potential-located in quiet neighborhood, decent sized rooms, short train ride away from Dublin center, but the upkeep was totally lacking. The yard was overgrown, the bathrooms had mildew/mold around bottom of shower and shower curtain, anemic water pressure, balky toilets, clogged shower drain, no hand soap or dishwashing soap, no dish towels, the oven was filthy, and the beds were not the most comfortable. The biggest problem was that the heat and hot water were together, so when……

“Great place to stay and relax for 1-2 people. Loved it. They were very friendly.”

“Nice place, clean room and helpful staffs.”

“A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in……

“It is a wonderful place to stay if you want to relax in the country and still be close to Dublin (less than a 1/2 hour away). You can walk to the surrounding towns to take in a good meal and some cold drinks and take in the local flare. The hosts are wonderful folks that genuinely care for the comfort of their guests. Since we didn’t have a car they took the time to drive me into town for some ice since there was none on the freezer. I ask who does this? Not many would. Thank you for 3 memorable……

I could pen a novella gushing about it, but here are the most relevant facts: this location was close enough, yet far enough away from the airport and industrial areas; the surrounding neighborhood has everything from coffee shops to grocery stores, restaurants, and everything in between; the location was central to northern Ireland, southern Ireland, and a straight cut across to the west coast; the……

“It cannot be written in such a small space, the sincere hospitality my fiancée and myself experienced. The property is spectacular. The hosts were above and beyond what one would expect. Bend over backwards to accommodate, even perceived needs or problems. Had a brilliant time.”

“Very clean and comfortable stay in quaint Southampton. Nice place to stay would recommend especially for a longer stay!”

“If you are looking to escape the mad world or planning the perfect family break, look no further. This place is truly a hidden gem, and from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special. The property is incredibly easy to find using Google Maps, which made the journey entirely stress-free. Also communication from the owner before arrival. As soon as you drive onto the grounds, an immediate sense of safety and……
