“The entire property was magical--such a peaceful and serene area. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Owl Nest. The property was equipped with everything I needed, making my experience completely comfortable. One of my favorite details was how, by opening all the curtains, you feel almost as if you’re sitting outside. “We recently returned from spending a week at this wonderful property. It is within a 5-minute drive to downtown Hilo with its many restaurants and shops. The home is situated at the end of a dead-end street and is very quiet. The home is older but very charming and offers all of the amenities of a newer property. “This was not what I was expecting. It is actually a beautiful home with multiple different efficiencies under one roof. The house is in disrepair and could use some maintenance. There was no AC in the master bedroom and the second bedroom had 3 beds in it. Two of the beds only had foam mattresses. The location is beautiful and close to town.”
